David and sometimes Charlie will watch Murder Mysteries with me on tv which I used to read as a child but as I’ve gotten older I quite reading this genre of books or I wouldn’t sleep. EVER!! Before you ask me why I would pick this book then its because I thought David would enjoy the story and get him interested in reading.

The cover of the book is intriguing with the red color that reminds me of a envelope. I wanted to know why the serial killer takes a wife but after reading a couple chapters the book took so may twist and turns I didn’t know if I would finish the book or not and before you ask no, I haven’t as of yet.

David did and he can’t wait to read other books by Michael Libling and knowing this I now know what to get David for Valentines Day and the nice part is Charlie has picked up the novel and is reading it now to prepare himself for Horror films he is wanting to watch. Charlie let me know his best friend Bradley would like The Serial Killer’s Son Takes A Wife as well.

SURVIVAL TIPS FOR SONS OF SERIAL KILLERS

1. Change your last name. Be forgettable.

2. Take comfort. Serial killing is not hereditary. Not usually, anyhow.

3. Never contact your parents, whether on Death Row or elsewhere. You are messed up enough.

4. Choose a dull career. Run an ice cream parlor, for instance.

5. Do not fall in love. Sooner or later, she will ask to meet your mom and dad.

6. Trust no one. Not even her.

7. Do not get married. It cannot end well.

8. Keep what you know to yourself. You were just a kid, after all.

9. Do not return to your boyhood home. No one has forgotten anything.

SURVIVAL TIPS FOR READERS: Watch your back. Lock your doors. Be courteous to everyone. Yes, everyone. This is your only warning.
