Preparing for back-to- school and Charlie’s Homeschool Home Economics’ Class where he will be reading to younger children is keeling me on my toes. We’ve been putting our Library together as well as finding books for Charlie to read in his reading class. As well as books Charlie can read to the children. Which is why Charlie, and I are excited to be able to share this new children’s book which we received i exchange for a review and a spot in our Back-to- School Gift Guide: The Pop-Up Guide: Cities Around the World by Maud Poulain (Author), Sandra de la Prada (Illustrator)
Before Charlie and I began to read The Pop-Up Guide: Cities Around the World. Charlie and I had fun looking at the cover. We discussed places we found including the Big Ben. Charlie and I would share facts about the places we saw on the book like the Big Ben which is in London. What do you see on the book you would like to visit and why?
Charlie could read most of the book on his own which is for children from the age of 3 to 5. Although it was fun hearing Charlie and David and even I at times sounding out the words which we can use in our Homeschool Language Class. Charlie and I had fun learning how thing her may be called on thing and in another state something else like a Ferris Wheel here and Cape Town in Cape Town, South Africia.
This is a pop up book making the illustrations pop which will keep both children and adults entertained for hours. Through The Pop-Up Guide: Cities Around the World Charlie and I found new Cities and States to add to our states ie Countries studies this year in our Geography Class. Would you like to join us?
