This is a review for a children’s novel called The Panda-emic Story which I was sent a copy of in exchange for a review. The thoughts in this review is mine and my families.
Every child I know has been struggling with Covid-19 and doesn’t understand what is happening and why. Not only that adults don’t understand what is happening as well.
I couldn’t wait to sit down and read The Panda-emic Story because it features a Panda along with other Zoo animals inside it. As soon as I read the preview for The Panda-emic Story I knew this novel would become one of Charlie’s favorite novels.
I also will be sharing The Panda-emic Story with my grandson Elijah and his mom Leslie. Along with my niece Lily and my nephew Jason to calm there fears as there parents prepare them to return to school.
Charlie is going to lern about Covid-19 in our Homeschool class this year. We plan on using The Panda-emic Story for Reading and Art. As well as Spelling in our Homeschool class.

The Panda-emic Story is a children’s picture book for ages 5 to 105. It is a story of how hope, courage, and care can truly save the world.
Written during a Pandemic, the Animal characters in this book represent people from all nations. Stories of great empathy and heroism as well as selfish and destructive behaviors were seen around the world — all inspiration for this story of a lone Panda who has the great misfortune of getting sick, and then being blamed, as the Zoo shuts down and many other Animals get sick. As for the Zookeepers, many will ask, ‘How could they just leave the Animals alone?’
It was a special group of endangered Birds, the caregivers, who ultimately save the Zoo and restore order once again — and to those fine Birds we are eternally grateful. May they soar high once again!
