The Organ Grinder Factor by Stephen Steele

Adult Book Recomendations

Good morning, how are you? I wanted to share a new action-suspense thriller The Organ Grinder Factor, written by STEPHEN STEELE. The Organ Grinder is Book II in The Trouble with Miracles series. I was sent a copy of The Organ Grinder in exchange for this review.

David has been trying to improve his reading and with Charlie going into High School this year I needed to find different books for Charlie to read. At first I was worried  The Organ Grinder Factor wouldn’t make sense because its part of a series. Which doesn’t matter as it can be read as a stand alone novel and make perfect sense.

Charlie sat down to read the book and before he was through the second chapter he was telling me things that had happened or why I needed to read the book. Charlie had captured my attention and before I knew what was happening, I was curled up on the couch reading the book for myself. Before I could finish the story David asked me what the book was about.

Next thing I knew David, Charlie and I were taking turns at night reading this book outload and before we even finished the story Charlie wanted to go to the Bookstore to pick up more books by the Author. The History and suspense kept both Charlie and David entertained and wanting more. This doesn’t usually happen because neither of them like to read while its my favorite hobby.

Charlie thought it was neat that a 3-D Printer can replace human organs without the need for surgery which neither of us ever plan on having. How about you? My family enjoyed the main characters Alex Farmer and Cyd Steely. This book is based on true events which is another reason I wanted to read the story.

Touching on child slavery in Africa which was a teaching lesson for Charlie. As well as allowing us to study a State we didn’t know much about. Then there is Israel leading to another Country for us to study in our Homeschool Classes.

About:

THE TROUBLE WITH MIRACLES

A 3-D printer that replaces human organs without the need for surgery . . .but even miracles can kill

The epic adventures of Alex Farmer and Cyd Seeley continue in The Organ Grinder Factor, Book Two in the 3-book series entitled  The Trouble with Miracles. Based on true events, this timely thriller ranges from the real-world horrors of child slavery in Africa to the ongoing Israeli/Palestinian conflict in Israel.

In desperate search of a place to safely grow their miracle cure for viruses called Cannastar, Alex and Cyd shipwreck off the West Coast of Africa and wash ashore in the drug and war-torn nation of Guinea-Bissau. Fleeing for their lives, they arrive in Senegal where they become involved in the Country’s real-life child slavery problem and barely avoid execution.

They find refuge in Israel where they meet the inventor of the Organ Grinder, a 3-D printer that replaces damaged organs without the need for surgery. The experimental research is funded by a ruthless billionaire with a violent and secret past who becomes Cyd and Alex’s investor in a vast new Cannastar plantation.

While living in Israel, Cyd is badly wounded in a Palestinian rocket attack. Her only chance of survival is the Organ Grinder—which has never been tested on a human being. Meanwhile, Alex is taken hostage by Palestinian terrorists and spends weeks in fear not knowing if Cyd is alive or dead.
