good morning, how are you? I would like to share a new hard back book based on the Ocean with you which we will be using in our Homeschool Class this year. The new book is called The Ocean Lover’s Quotation Book: An Inspired Collection Celebrating the Beauty & Wonders of the Sea by Jackie Corley. I received a copy of in exchange for this review.
Charlie has always been fascinated about the Ocean and the Stars and Planets and is one of his favorite things to study each year in our Homeschool. I can’t wait until school opens up this year to show Charlie The Ocean Lover’s Quotation Book: An Inspired Collection Celebrating the Beauty & Wonders of the Sea.
I had the book sitting on my desk and last night `David was sitting at my desk and saw the book. David opened it up and began to try and read the quotes. I loved hearing David mention things he read and when he went to bed I picked up the book to read a quote or two. Before I know what had happened I had finished the entire book.
I love how the book is small enough to slide into a bag to take with us. It’s broken down into chapters which we can read one a night. I do a Motivational Quote on Sundays on my blog and will be fun letting Charlie use this book to find which quotes to share on our site and to learn in our classes each week.
There is word’s I hadn’t hear before which I can add to our Homeschool Spelling list. Charlie can look up in the dictionary and then we can use them when we do our spelling test each week. I know Charlie will enjoy the animals on the cover of the book that I am not going to tell you what they are because I want you to check out the book on your own. Charlie and I will be studying the animals in our Animal studies this year.
