The Mommies Reviews

My House of Tales, is pleased to present for the first time in the United States a very special Christmas story, The Night of Bethlehem, a diorama featuring lights, sounds, movement, and special effects at the recently opened Music City Hall in Lewisville, Texas.

No photo description available.

The Night of Bethlehem is a 15 minute presentation that narrates the events surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ through a groundbreaking show featuring spectacular lighting, moving figures, and special effects. During the presentation, the audience of approximately 20 – 30 guests will stand in front of an artistic rendering and scenic view of a Nativity Scene in the City of Bethlehem. The presentation is available in Spanish and English.

The Night of Bethlehem made its debut in 1990 in Bogotá, Colombia. Husband and wife, Gustavo & Edilma González, created this dynamic Nativity Scene as a means to re-engage the public with the spirit of the holiday season. The show traveled throughout Colombia, and it was often regarded as one of the country’s most original and treasured Nativity Scenes.

The presentation of this diorama starts November 1, 2018 and will run through January 10, 2019. Tickets are now on sale at www.MyHouseofTales.com. Prices range from $8 per adult and $5 per child. Children under 4 years of age may enter free.

As you can see from above we missed last years show and I am not sure they will be opening up this year or not But if they do I would like to bring my family out to this event.

40 YEARS of

Family Tradition

For more than 40 years, the Gonzalez family has recreated unforgettable nativity scenes in their home. During the 80’s and 90’s, they expanded their traditional nativity scenes by including sound, lights and special effects.

Today, husband and wife, Gustavo and Edilma, continue their tradition by recreating their one of kind nativity scene and featuring it for the first time in the United States. “The Night of Bethlehem” is a remarkable and unique show that reenacts the biblical events that surrounded one of the most important moment in history. This groundbreaking show seeking to remind us of the true meaning of the Christian Holidays.
