The Mindful Photographer

The Mommies Reviews

I would like to share what I would like to call a Coffee-Table book with you The Mindful Photographer written by David Ulrich which I received in exchange for this review.

I’ve been trying to add extra classes for Charlie to take in Homeschool as part of Charlie’s Home Economics Course. Charlie will be able to take care of himself when he moves out. Also, Charlie will be able to start his own business or have knowledge employees may need.

One skill I would like for Charlie to learn is Photography and David’s Uncle Don could use David’s camera and teach Charlie all he needs. Don is a hour one way and another hour back home so it isn’t always easy to go and see him on a consistent business.

I began to look online for a photography class that would allow teens to go or a class that would allow Charlie and David to go to the class together. Even though I searched and searched I couldn’t find a class that fit what I was looking for.

I finally decided we would do online classes and use books we find at the Library to teach them what they know. The first book I assigned to Charlie was The Mindful Photographer because there is a section that does Camera practice and we knew we would need the tips in this chapter to succeed at any photos we take.

I can’t wait to see the steps Charlie takes to put everything we learned from The Mindful Photographer into practice. As well as seeing if David will listen to what Charlie and I learn and use it when taking photos. Which will take my site to the next level and allow us to begin a YouTube channel Charlie and I would like to start.
