I just finished a book written by Danielle Steel I was reading yesterday. Then this morning I picked up one of the new books I purchased written by Debbie Macomber called The Knitting Diaries
I would like to let you know this new novel showcases stories by three different authors. Inside you will find Debbie Macomber, Christine Skye, and Susan Mallery.
Each of the story’s themes are based on knitting. I would like to let you know there is two authors I hadn’t heard of before I picked up The Knitting Diaries.
I can’t wait to read three new author’s work. I would like to see how there writing compares to Debbie Macomber, Danielle Steel, and Jackie Collins.
The second story you will find inside The Knitting Diaries was written by Susan Mallery who contributed Coming Unraveled.
The third book you will find inside this novel was written by Christina Skye who published Return To Summer Island and was nice enough to included it.
Be watching in the next week or two as I will be back with a complete review of each story inside The Knitting Diaries. Although in the meantime I have a question for you. Have you read any of the stories inside The Knitting Diaries? If so, what did you think of the stories and why?
Knitting is many things to many people
Knitting is a way of life
Widow Anne Marie Roche and her adopted daughter, ten-year-old Ellen, have each written a list of twenty wishes—on which they included learning to knit.
Like many of their dreams, it’s come true, and now they knit every day. But Ellen has quietly added a twenty-first wish: that her mom will fall in love with Tim, Ellen’s birth father, who has recently entered their lives.
Knitting is a passion.
Coming Unraveled by Susan Mallery
When Robyn Mulligan’s dreams of becoming a Broadway star give way to an intense longing for her childhood home, she decides it’s time to make a fresh start back in Texas, running her grandmother’s knitting store.
But the handsome, hot-tempered T. J. Passman—who’s joined the shop’s knitting circle—isn’t making it easy. If he can learn to trust Robyn and overcome his tragic past, they just might discover a passion like no other.
Susan Mallery is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of books about the relationships that define women’s lives–romance, friendship, family.
With compassion and humor, Susan keenly observes how people think and feel, in stories that take readers on an emotional journey. Sometimes heartbreaking, often funny, and always uplifting,
Susan’s books have spent more than 200 weeks on the USA Today bestsellers list, thanks to her ever growing legions of fans.
Critics, too, have heaped praise on “the new queen of romantic fiction.” (Walmart) Booklist says, “Romance novels don’t get much better than Mallery’s expert blend of emotional nuance, humor, and superb storytelling,” and RT Book Reviews puts her “in a class by herself!”
Although Susan majored in accounting, she never worked as an accountant because she was published straight out of college with two books the same month. Sixteen prolific years and seventy-four books later, she hit the New York Times bestsellers list for the first time with Accidentally Yours in 2008. She made many appearances in the Top 10 before (finally) hitting #1 in 2015 with Thrill Me, the twentieth book in her most popular series, the Fool’s Gold romances, and the fourth of five books released that year.
Susan lives in Seattle with her husband, two ragdoll cats, and a small poodle with delusions of grandeur. Her heart for animals has led Susan to become an active supporter of the Seattle Humane Society. Animals play a big role in her books, as well, as she believes they’re an integral component to a happy life.
