The Joy of Living How To Slay Stress and Be Happy

The Mommies Reviews

This is a review for The Joy of Living How To Slay Stress and Be Happy written by Barry Shore as I was sent a copy for this review.

Mental Health is something everyone of us deals with at one time or another. As well as ADHD, Dyslexia, Depression and even Panic Attacks. Then you throw in Covid-19 and it all gets worse.

As a mom we think these things will never touch our children yet they do and I can share how firsthand. As Charlie is sinking into Depression more and more everyday,

He doesn’t want to leave the house for any reason which is hard because we still have to live our lives. Homeschooling is not going as well as should because of Charlie’s attitude.

I am at my wits end and about to pull my hair out when I found out about The Joy of Living How To Slay Stress and Be Happy, Reading the Authors story and finding out how he overcame the obstacles that had taken over his life touched my Heart.

I sat down to read The Joy of Living How To Slay Stress and Be Happy and once I started, I couldn’t put the book down. I found myself making notes of things to share with David and Charlie.

I was talking to them about the book and what I learned I saw Charlie pick up The Joy of Living How To Slay Stress and Be Happy and take it to his room. When I checked on Charlie later, I saw he was reading the book.

Charlie came into the front room and let me know which steps he liked and that he would like to try them in his life. For a mom this was a “God Moment” and something I’ve Praying for weeks to happen. I feel like through this book which was a Godsend for my family I’ve gotten my son back. I thank the AUTHOR and the LORD>

Like any mom I wanted to help my son but felt like I was failing miserably but not anymore. It doesn’t matter if it’s you, your child or someone you love you should take the time to read The Joy of Living How To Slay Stress and Be Happy as soon as possible.

Inside the book was a business card/ I took the card and framed it for Charlie’s wall. Then not only could Charlie see the card and take those words into account David and I would be able to remind Charlie we appreciate him and we love him.

On days when things were going bad for Charlie or I heard both Charlie and I muttering under our breaths Keep It Simple S.M..I.L.E. if you want to know more about this means your going to have to read the book Charlie said.
