I know most of you know Charlie is Homeschooling. I wasn’t sure if you knew Charlie has to do a Home Economics Couse which includes Life Skills including Cooking. Now that Charlie has mastered the stove and making complete meals and cakes. I want to venture out to Crock Pots and Air Fryers.
To make things fun for Charlie and David we will be using our Air Fryer to make desserts in and the making same dessert in a Crock Pot to see the difference and which ones taste better. Would you like to join us in our Class once we start:
Like all schools we have to have supplies and in our cooking class I knew we would need a Air Fryer Cookbook which is why I am excited and blessed to let you know I received The “I Love My Air Fryer” Baking Book: From Inside-Out Chocolate Chip Cookies to Calzones, 175 Quick and Easy Recipes (“I Love My” Series) which was fun to sit down with David and look through this morning.
Charlie and I printed out the tips for our baking notebook which we will be able to refer back to and add our own notes as we began cooking. I believe Suzzane was looking down on me this morning when I opened up the book as the first recipe I saw was a Peach Cobbler which was hers and David’s favorite dessert
Charlie was so excited to find a recipe for a Blueberry Pie he can’t wait to make for his Grandfather when he feels better. Then for Thanksgiving which I want to serve in our new home this year is a Pumpkin Pie which David loves. Would you like to come for dinner?
There is even Breads in this cookbook which I’ve always wanted to try and make. With the Holidays here soon we can make the Breads to give as Gifts. If measurements confuse you or your learning them like Charlie there is a US? Metric Conversion Charlie which I can’t wait to go over with David and Charlie.
If you will excuse me Charlie, David and I’ve made a list of the desserts we want to make. As well as put together a Grocery List. Now all we need to do is go to the Storage and get out my Instant Pot because I don’t have one of them here. Just my Crockpot which I use all the time and my Electric Skillet.
As well as going Grocery Shopping for all the ingredients we will need which is also a Math Class, Reading Class, and a Field Trip for Charlie all rolled into one. Which we wouldn’t have had it we hadn’t been blessed with this new cookbook which I hope you take the time to check out ASAP..
