Back to School is right around the corner which brings us Fall and the Holiday Season Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Even though it is only July more and more stores are putting out Thanksgiving and Halloween decorations. David was cleaning our home last night I had him start to look for our decorations so were prepared for the Holidays.
David was going through the Totes and separating the products into different Holidays. David found The Gracious Gobbler which I had gotten in the past for a review I wanted to share with you. I would like to help you fill your library with amazing books. One of the books I would like to share with you is The Gracious Gobbler published by Megan Delgado. I like when you open the box in the top of the lid it says “Create a world of kindness” which I believe we should do everyday of the year. Don’t you?
Inside the box is the cutest softest Turky I’ve seen. Her Beak is so cute. Charlie said he likes the Turkey’s hair and David likes his red and white stripped feet. The Turkey will be cute sitting out on the coffee table during Thanksgiving. I could see children sleeping with the Turkey who will quickly become one of there favorite toys.
I can’t wait to purchase The Gracious Gobbler for David’s mom to share with my grandson and my cousins when they have Thanksgiving dinner at her home. Inside the box is the novel the Gracious Gobbler both children and adults will enjoy hearing. This children’s book can be used during Thanksgiving but not only but year round to teach children kindness and to pay it forward by writing notes and dropping them off to nurses and teachers.
I liked learning when we purchase The Gracious Gobbler. A percentage of proceeds go toward education in the United States because education is a integral part of our children’s lives. I also like how this book will help children practice there spelling and handwriting. Charlie has even used this for his Art class and draw the Turkey in different settings. There is notecards in the box for our children to use when writing there notes or letters.
About the book:
The Gracious Gobbler will become a staple in your home all year long – not just at Thanksgiving. Just like the popular Christmas “Elf on the Shelf” toy, The Gracious Gobbler wants to teach kids how to spread kindness and practice gratitude, especially during these tough times.
They hope while you’re stuck at home that their plush turkey and book will help families practice positive reinforcement from writing letters to nurses or celebrating a child’s milestone with a note attached to the turkey. A percentage of proceeds go toward education in the United States.
Price: $40
