This is a review for a novel called the Golfer’s Book of Wit and Wisdom which I received in exchange for this review. The thoughts in the review are mine.
Now, that were all inside for who knows how long and haven’t been able to get to take Charlie anywhere to play I was thinking Charlie and I could play Golf in our yard.
For parents that never thought they would have to homeschool our children can be hard. Especially trying to keep them busy and having them inside 24/7/.
Charlie he has always wanted to learn to play Golf I have been thinking of setting up a small putting green in the yard and we can practice putting.
There is no, reason we can’t practice Golf. All we need is a set of golf clubs or heck even one club would work. If your thinking those would be expensive to purchase look on the free sites on Facebook and also your Thrift Stores and ask your friends and family if they have clubs lying around they don’t need.
To prepare Charlie I’ve been having him study Arnold Palmer and Tiger Woods. As soon as the Golfer’s Book of Wit and Wisdom arrived Charlie and I sat down and read this novel from cover to cover.
I can’t wait to purchase a copy of the Golfer’s Book of Wit and Wisdom for my nephew who loves playing Golf. I could even see my nephew purchasing copies for his Uncle and his dad who have always followed Arnold Palmer’s career.
The great Arnold Palmer famously remarked that golf is, “Without a doubt, the greatest game mankind has ever invented.” He goes on to say that golf is “deceptively simple and endlessly complicated” and “at the same time rewarding and maddening.”
The Golfer’s Book of Wit & Wisdom seeks to encompass everything there is to love about golf. Collecting over 350 sayings containing the wisdom and wit from the world within and outside of golf, this book promises to be a cherished and fun collectible for every fan.
The Golfer’s Book of Wit & Wisdom is distributed by Penguin Random House. You can purchase a copy of The Golfer’s Book of Wit & Wisdom through Amazon.
