This is a review for The Everything Macro Diet Meal Prep Cookbook which I received a copy of.
I don’t know about you, but I think I’ve tried more diets than anyone I know as well as using more supplements and weight loss products than anyone person should. Before you say then you lost the weight you wanted to lose. No, I didn’t.
This is maddening and with us moving there may not be a Park close by for me to walk in or ride my bike which is even going to hinder my diet more. Although I do have the Treadmill David was kind enough to buy me there is times, I can’t use it with my knee.
Leading me to regroup and find a new diet to begin when THE EVERYTHING MACRO DIET MEAL PREP COOKBOOK arrived, and it says we don’t have to count Calories I knew I wanted to try these recipes out. Because counting calories not only confuses me but at times, I forget to do that.
I thumbed through the cookbook this morning loved how the meals can be prepared ahead of time. With Charlie taking a Homeschool Cooking Class he can still cook for himself and his dad and on Sunday’s I can prepare my meals for the week.
Depending on what Charlie is fixing I will even be able to use some of the meats and vegetables he is using saving us money on our grocery bills. As I was preparing my menu for next week Charlie and David asked me what I would be having for dinner and as I went through the recipes, they even picked out a couple recipes to eat with me.
Which will help me stay on this meal plan because having support is key in dieting. Charlie did ask me if we would be able to have desserts and I was happy to tell him yes, and show him the desserts in the book and Charlie can’t wait to make Double Chocolate Fudge Bites which even David who isn’t crazy about Chocolate said he would try out.
David was thumbing through the cookbook, he showed me the two-week meal plan which would keep me from having to run to the grocery store each week which I love because sometimes I can’t get to the store when I need to. Especially with us moving away from David’s mom who is around the corner from us.
Inside the cookbook is Standard/US Metric Conversions which will make teaching Charlie easier to cook because he is still learning and is always asking questions and having this will not only be a reading but math lesson for Charlie and allow Charlie to be more independent.
