During our Trip to Round Rock, Texas on our way home we decided to stop for Breakfast before heading back to Texas. Several people mentioned The Daily Special Cafe to David. Letting him know the Food was always cooked fresh to order.
We pulled in and the restaurant was busy inside and locals kept arriving telling us what we had been told must be true. The Waitress brought us our Menus and took our drink orders. We all ordered water while David asked for a cup of Coffee. Which wasn’t too strong and had a nice fragrant smell. There were unlimited refills which David liked.
Charlie ordered 2 Eggs Over Medium that was cooked perfectly with Ham and Hashbrowns. The Hashbrowns were crispy and not greasy at all. The Ham was a good size slice that wasn’t Salty and went into the Breakfast Bowl Charlie was making perfectly.
Bradley ordered Pancakes and decided on two not knowing how big they might be. With a side of Bacon. Once the Pancake’s arrived Bradley was glad, he had only ordered two as they were pretty big. The Bacon was cooked perfectly and not to crispy or burned.
I asked for 2 Eggs Over Medium with Sausages, Hashbrowns and a side of Gravy with Toast. My Eggs were done just the way I liked and the Hashbrowns were perfectly done and there were so many I couldn’t finish all of them. My Sausage had an awesome taste and wasn’t Spicy or Greasy and I would like to order this again. My Toast was so good and not to done just the way I like, and they had Jelly I loved.
All in all, I would give this a 10 out of10 and if I lived closer The Daily Special Cafe would be our new go to Breakfast restaurant. If you’re hungry, would you like to go with us for Lunch because I can’t wait to try out their Lunches one day. Which would lead to more #Homeschool Adventures and #FieldTrips allowing us to explore Alvarado, Texas which we didn’t have the chance to do that morning.
The Daily Special Cafe is place where you can eat your breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It provides a great variety of food, easy appetizers for kids and also the price is affordable for everyone. The food quality huge and the quality great.
The waitress was kind caring and very knowledgeable. You could tell she knew a lot of the clientele and that they respected her and the restaurant. Everyone was having fun and there were a lot of families having breakfast together talking from table to table. Just like Sunday dinner at my grandmother’s home.
