Good morning, welcome to The Cornerstone Content Blog Challenge Day 2. I don’t know about where your at but here it’s raining cats and dogs and has been all night.
Before I begin this mornings post I would like to thank the Lord for our Electricty not going out keeping me from working this morning which happens a lot when it rains.
In a few minutes it will be time to begin Homeschool and its going to be challenging this morning as David is home and we have Honey Do projects to get down ieven in the Rain.
Then tomorrow if it isn’t Raining we are going on our second Field Trip of the year to Canton Texas to Canton Trader Days. Before you ask what does this have to do with school and it’s PE as we will be waling and no, telling what we will find or talk to.
Which is why I couldn’t wait to do this mornings post which ask us to share Content that Reveals. What does this mean to you and why?
I struggled with this topic and still aren’t sure I answered the prompt correctly but I did try and that is what matters isn’t it?
For Homeschooling families I wanted you to know that I decided to let you know I am afraid I will be failing Charlie in school and he will not learn all he needs to to become a successful adult.
If your Homeschooling your children do you feel the same way? If so why? How did you overcome this feeling? Is there a book or website you think I should look into?
This leads to my blog as well as I will be launching my Christmas Gift Guide in the next month and I am afraid I will not find clients to wotk with due to Covid-19.
Do you feel this way as well? Are you starting to get Cabin Fever from being inside all the time? Because I am and I am ready for things to return to normal. I want to go out to diner and a movie. How about you?
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie, and David Cates
I definitely had that worry as a homeschool mom! But here’s the gift – when you homeschool, most kids will love learning. And that’s not always true with going to school. My son often explored topics far beyond what was required and his essays, research and other papers were works of art. I think he’s smarter because I homeschooled him! I totally get your biz worries, too. Who will want style advice or color analysis when they aren’t leaving home? But I think women who love style still will.
These are crazy times and I want tell you that its okay to feel this way.People will still want to buy gifts and gift.
Homeschooling is something I have not attempted though with the kids at home now remote-schooling, everything is different..
And I am still trying to figure out how to get my blog going towards more than just a blog..
