The Cloudosaurus Rex Published by Emma R McNally

This is a review for a children’s book called The Cloudosaurs Rex published by Emma R McNally. I was received a copy of this new book to review but the thoughts in the review are mine and my families. Once the new book arrived Charlie and I sat down to readThe Cloudosaurs Rex. We finished reading The Cloudosaurs Rex and Charlie and I knew we needed to share the book with everyone we knew because the storyline was so cute and would capture their attention.

The Cloudosaurs Rex is perfect not only for children but adults as well. Or at least this book is for me because I enjoyed the illustrations and the storyline as much as Charlie did. Since reading The Cloudosaurs Rex Charlie and I want to go and find us a T Rex we could have for a pet.

I believe it would be fun to have had a copy ofThe Cloudosaurs Rex when Suzzane’s was smaller as T Rex was her favorite Dinosaur.  I wish just Suzzie was here to read The Cloudosaurs Rex with Charlie and I because I know Suzzie would love this new book as much as Charlie and I did.

With us doing partial Public School and part Homeschooling nowThe Cloudosaurs Rex is the perfect book for our reading class. Or for Art class as we can draw a Dinosaur and write our own story. Or we could use The Cloudosaurs Rex  for Language Arts as this book helps us learn the days of the week.

For Charlie we have been working on learning the days of the week and seeing them in print will help Charlie remember the days  and help Charlie learn how to spell the days. Once Charlie learns them all then we can work on teaching them to David who struggles with reading.

David struggles with reading but he sat down with Charlie and together they read The Cloudosaurs Rex . Charlie was able to help David with the words he didn’t know and  David said he enjoyed reading this new children’s book and he can’t wait to share the story with our nieces and nephews. David surprised me when he asked if we could order each of them a copy of The Cloudosaurs RexDavid let me know when we ordered the copy’s for our nieces and nephew’s that we need to order a copy for ourselves as well.

I would like to ask you a question. Have you heard of The Cloudosaurs Rex? If so have you read The Cloudosaurs Rex to your children? If not is this the type of children’s book you and your children enjoy? Is The Cloudosaurs Rex a book you would use in your classroom and if so what classes would you use it in?

May, Adelle and Eddie go outside to play, but the weather keeps changing every day.
They see a Cloudosaurus Rex, kind of the sky; it’s he who decides if it’s wet or dry.
You can learn the days of the week together, as the Cloudosaurus Rex changes the weather.

Author Bio

I have always loved reading and writing. In fact, I had the idea for my first book when I was only 8 years old. As a child we didn’t have a TV, so I was always writing stories, poems, reading or making things out of leftover fabric. I studied English Literature and languages at school and earned my Master’s Degree with distinction in 2004. My love of reading has helped me throughout my career. I want to encourage children today to develop their own love of books, which I believe will help them to reach their future potential.

After a successful 25 year corporate career, I took the step to set up my own business two years ago and write, illustrate and publish children’s books – an ambition of mine for many years. I have had amazing reviews and articles written about my work. I believe the greatest critic for a children’s author is the children themselves and they are always honest! It is when a group of children are captivated by my story, mesmerized and hanging off every word, joining in with the rhyming verse and actions and then, when I have finished, ask to hear the book again – this is when I know I have written a great story.

I am always inspired by people who have pursued their dreams relentlessly – their tenacity and drive motivates me to be successful. My late father was a big influence on me and I have inherited his passion, enthusiasm as well as his love of reading. My favorite authors will always be AA Milne and CS Lewis, purely for the fact that you can read their books at any age and be swept away on the waves of your own imagination.

I hope you enjoyed learning more about The Cloudosaurus Rex written by Emma R McNally and that you take the time to check out this book for the children in your life.
