The Brothers Grimm Cookbook: Recipes Inspired by Fairy Tales (Literary Cookbooks) I received a while back in exchange for a review. I gave David Christmas. David never opened up the cookbook. This morning I was preparing lesson plans for school when I cam across the cookbook.
I picked up the book which includes recipes inspired by Fairy Tales by Robert Tuesley Anderson and decided to add this book to our Homeschool Home Economics class as part of our Cooking Class Charlie will be taking this week. We can also use The Brothers Grimm Cookbook in our Reading and Art class.
Charlie and I had fun discussing the different sections including “Once Upon A Time” or “The Magic Cooking Pot” and so many more chapters Charlie can’t wait to check out. or for girls Charlie says is |Happily Ever After” which reminds me of Cinderella. How about you?
David can’t wait to make “Little Re-Cap’s Oven-baked Sausage Brunch without Tomatoes. I can’t wait to try the recipe for “Sausage Gravy”. Charlie being as picky as he is didn’t see anything he would like to try. But I bet when he begins to prepare mine and Charlie’s choices he changes his mind and picks out a recipe as well. Especially after seeing all the amazing photo’s in the book.
