I finished another of Debbie Macomber’s novels this morning The Best Is Yet to Come and as your reading the novel you might find yourself if that is true or not but before you finish the story you find out that is what happened. After holding your breath for a while and praying for the people involved in the story.
Through the book you learn the heroine Hope has suffered a tragic loss of her twin brother who was in the service. Just as the main chapter Cade who lost his two best friends in a war. As Hope settles into her new home she learns her friend also lost her sister and the Doctor lost her whole family bringing.
Then there is Shadow a dog brought in the shelter that if doesn’t change his ways will be put down. With Hopes help Shadow learns to trust her and Cade and she is able to adopt him. Thank the Lord. Hope is a counselor and a teacher and becomes involved with her students and learns that things aren’t always what they seem.
The Best Is Yet to Come is not only a romance but a suspense novel. I love that it’s a clean romance that even a high school student could read the story because it deals with high school and football along with drugs and teachers who do things that aren’t always right. I hope you take the time to check out this novel as soon as possible.
