If you are in the mood for a light, fun cozy mystery with I believe a Golden Retriever and other dogs. Along with romance between a strait-laced Texas game warden and an office manager who doesn’t really listen when told to sit and stay away from danger, then The Bark of Zorro by Kathleen Y’Barbo is the book not only for me but for you as well.
The Bark of Zorro a romantic/ mystery featuring Cassidy who lives a normal life in Brenham, TX. While Cassidy is working as the business manager of a veterinarian office and volunteering at a pet rescue, Cassidy also solves crimes. Although holding down two jobs and solving crimes made me wonder how she had the time on her hands to solve the crimes.
For those of you wondering if this is a clean romance The Bark of Zorro is and it’s a Christian based story. There is a twist ending that I didn’t see coming. I was a bit sad that the mystery was not one that we could have solved, because you get some of the clues but not all which kept me on the edge of my seat at all times. If your looking for a new series to read then you defiantly will want to check Bark of Zorro which is part of a series that can be read as a stand-alone book. No, matter which book you start with they all fit together like a well-oiled machine.
