I thought I would share a children’s chapter book with you this morning. The Apartment House on Poppy Hill by Nina LaCour (Author), Sònia Albert (Illustrator) I received a copy of in exchange for this review. Inside this post are my affiliate links if you click on the link and make a purchase I will make a small percentage off the items you purchase.
I sat down this morning to begin reading the book The Apartment House on Poppy Hill. I love the apartment building that looks pink ie red which at one time Charlie, my mom and my mother in law would have liked living in. Look is that a balcony? Look at the turret it looks like a castle. Isn’t the girls pretty. I like her outfit and her hair is a pretty color. Charlie says look ma I can stand like that. Can you?
When I find books like The Apartment House on Poppy Hill it makes me miss the times Suzzane and I would sit down and read together. This is a chapter book and I think Charlie would enjoy the story. Being a boy and having a girl on the cover of the book keeps Charlie from wanting to rad the story with me.
Which is fine because I sat down on my own and read The Apartment House on Poppy Hill the book and feel in love with the story. I hope and PRAY the Author write more children’s books for girls because these books would make a perfect Christmas Gift for my nieces as well as any young ladies you might know.
