This is a review for The Adventure Challenge Family Edition from Let’s Roam which I was sent a copy of for this review.
Homeschooling can be free as I’ve said before but then at times you will want to spend money. Especially if your planning to attend Field Trips with your students.
Thank to The Adventure Challenge from Let’s Roam now we can do challenges at home instead of Field Trips and yes, like anything else you should start a Budget because the things they have us do can cost between $0 and $50.
But using the book you could have everyone in your Home do the challenges and instead of paying for each person to go into a attraction you can pay one time for the challenge and everyone else can use the things you purchased.
The Family Edition is an invitation for families who want to leave a legacy of memories with their tribe. For families who believe in living with purpose, intention, connection, creativity and fun. We’re here to help you obliterate boredom, break out of ruts, discover new favorite traditions, and create those “laugh so hard your face hurts moments” that you’ll tell stories about for years.
Unfortunately, children grow up too fast and you only have a small window of time to create a life-long connection. How do you do that? Well, studies show that connection is caused by shared experiences–especially those that involve novelty (something new). So it turns out that having fun and experiencing something new together is the magic formula. We’ve created every adventure specifically with that in mind. It’s a tough job but somebody has to do it.
No take backs!
Once it’s scratched off, you HAVE to do it. It’s time to discover something new about yourself. Simply choose a category together, then scratch off your adventure! Don’t forget to take a picture and journal your experience! When you finish, you’ll have a keepsake to look back on.
Hint: There’s a time and money guide over each box to help you decide.
Who is this for?
This book is amazing for families of all ages and sizes, but is ideally created with kids ages 4-15 in mind and for families of around 4-8 members. We’ve also personally tested and loved all the challenges and we’re all adults here (just saying).
How much are the challenges?
The challenges range from $0-$50, but they can all be modified to fit within your budget.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
