The Adams Family

The Mommies Reviews

David, Charlie and I was able to attend a performance of The Addams Family yesterday through the The Adams Family at The Shops at Willow Bend.

Mommy, always knows best. Or does she?

I was amazed when we arrived at NTPA Repertory Theater and were able to walk around. Inside the building is 4 Theaters. I can’t wait to go back and learn more about each Theater.

David and I walked into the Hall and on the way we passed the concession stand. David and Charlie purchased candy for us to share from the concession stand.

We walked down the hall and on the left side was a room where they were selling glasses of wine. I thought of purchasing a glass for David but David wanted to wait until the next time we come to a play.

We walked into the Theater and were escorted to our seats. I was amazed at how big the Theater was. No, matter where we would have sat we would have had a perfect seat.

Do you see the happy couple?

I loved the chairs which were done in red velvet. The chairs reminded me of times gone by. They were so comfortable and we weren’t cramped at all. liked that there was plenty of room between the seats for everyone to get by without tripping.

As soon as The Addams Family begun I found myself lost in the show. I was singing along with the cast. I turned to check on Charlie and he was singing as well.

Fester David’s favorite character. Yes, Fester did put a Light bulb in his mouth and. I would like to tell you that the light bulb did light up.

David let me know he loved this performance of The Adams Family. David said he would like to come back and bring his mother Sherry and my sister Debbie to see The Adams Family. David believes they would enjoy The Adams Family just as much as we did.

If your homeschooling your children which I wish I was still doing full time check out he website because they offer a Homeschooling program. I can’t wait to check the program out and see if David would let Charlie attend. As well as there next show the Scrooge.

PLANO, Texas – September 27, 2019 – NTPA Repertory Theatre will present The Addams Family October 25 – November 2, 2019. In the musical The Addams Family, Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a nice young man from a respectable family.

And if that wasn’t upsetting enough for the Addams, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before: keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s ‘normal’ boyfriend and his parents.

Have you ever seen two people more in love than these two? I haven’t.

A special Halloween performance will take place on Thursday, October 31. Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased online antparep.org. Special ticket pricing for groups is available.  The show is appropriate for ages twelve and older.
