This year, it will be especially important to do your research, as many stores and restaurants are closing on Thanksgiving due to Pandemic concerns and staffing shortages, so we complied a cheat sheet for you.

Restaurants That Are Open on Thanksgiving Day With Specials

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill

Select Applebee’s restaurants will host a Thanksgiving Day meal featuring Turkey Breast, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and Garlicky Green Beans (in addition to Applebee’s regular menu items). Check your local restaurant’s hours to be sure!

Bahama Breeze

Dinner is from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and features an Island style spread of sliced Turkey with sides such as Green Beans, Cornbread Stuffing and Cranberry-Pineapple Chutney, starting at $19.99. Pumpkin Praline Pie will also be available for dessert only on this day, starting at $6.79 per slice. The entire Thanksgiving family bundle for four is $75. Preorder now!

Black Angus Steakhouse

Make your reservations now for Black Angus’ Thanksgiving dinner buffet from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m., and you can get your choice of Soup or Garden Salad with warm Molasses Bread, Roasted Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Sage Dressing, Sweet Potato, Steamed Broccoli and fresh Cranberry Sauce. And, of course, there will be Pumpkin Pie with Whipped Cream. Pricing is $31.95 for adults and $15.95 for kids, but might vary by location. They are also offering a “weigh & pay” option to fill a to-go box from their buffet and pay $12.99 per pound. 

Their normal menu is also available after 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving day.

Bob Evans

You can dine at their restaurant, but this year they are emphasizing delivery or curbside pickup meals. Their Premium Farmhouse Feast ($125) arrives packed cold and serves up to 10 people. It includes slow-roasted Turkey, hickory-smoked Ham, Bread and Celery Dressing, Corn, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Rolls, Green Beans with Ham, Cranberry Relish, Macaroni and Cheese, Pumpkin Bread, Pumpkin Pie and Apple Pie. Simply bring it home, heat it up and serve! Open on 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving day.

You can also get a taste of Thanksgiving any day with their signature slow-roasted Turkey dinners starting at just $7.99.

Boston Market

Enjoy a traditional plated Thanksgiving meal at Boston Market. Choose from Turkey or Rotisserie Chicken and plenty of side dishes, such as Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Sweet Potato Casserole, Green Beans and Vegetable Stuffing. For dessert, enjoy Pumpkin Pie, Apple Pie or Cherry Pie. All plates priced per person, for both dine-in, to-go and delivery right to your door. Family side items are available (order by Nov. 22.) for carryout, as well, if you’re in a pinch, and Holiday catering is also available.

Buca di Beppo

Buca di Beppo will be opening for lunch and dinner on Thanksgiving Day. Guests can dine in, purchase catering trays, order a meal to go or even have the meal delivered (check locally for availability). The traditional Thanksgiving pre-fixe menu includes sliced Turkey, Homestyle Gravy, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes, spicy Italian Sausage Stuffing, Green Beans, Cranberry Sauce and Pumpkin Pie. The small serves three people ($78.99) and the large serves six ($148). You can pre-order until 8 a.m. on Nov. 23, and pickup is available from Nov. 15 – 25.

If you want catering, they are offering either cold (ready to heat and eat) or hot (ready to serve), with a half pan that feeds ten for $229.99 or a full pan that feeds 20 for $399.99. Make sure you also order by 8 a.m. on Nov. 23. 

The Capital Grille

Their Thanksgiving menu includes Slow-Roasted Turkey with Brioche Stuffing, French Green Beans and Cranberry-Pear Chutney with Sam’s Mashed Potatoes or Pecan-Crusted Mashed Sweet Potatoes with hot Honey to share. They also have an assortment of featured Wines. The price is $43 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and younger. Pumpkin Cheesecake is an additional $11 per person.

Chart House

You can visit Chart House for a great Thanksgiving meal! Whether you dine in on Thanksgiving Day or bring Chart House home to your dinner table, they have everything you need to make it a meal to remember. Their to-go family packs ($130) serve 3-4 people and you can choose from their famous slow Roasted Prime Rib or Turkey dinner as your main entrée, a Salad, accompaniments and dessert. Be sure to pre-order by Nov. 19th to get your feast on time!

Cracker Barrel

On Thanksgiving, Cracker Barrel will start serving its Thanksgiving meal a bit differently. They are offering curbside, pick-up, delivery and dine-in service in accordance with local regulations. Their delicious and ready-to-eat Heat N’ Serve Holiday Family Meal To-Go in two sizes that can serve either 8-10 people or 4-6. Orders can be placed online or through the Cracker Barrel app at least 24 hours in advance of pickup. Available for pickup from Nov. 20th to 27th, but you can order now and get a free bonus cared with you pickup from Nov. 22nd and 23rd.

Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House

Del Frisco’s Grille will be open on Thanksgiving Day, and offering a traditional Holiday three-course menu featuring our Slow Roasted Turkey Breast, and all the trimmings. It serves 2-6 people and is available to pick up to enjoy at home. Price varies by location, and be sure to call to pre-order by Nov. 23.

Denny’s

Whether you’re craving a Holiday breakfast or an old-fashioned Thanksgiving dinner, Denny’s has it covered. Celebrate at Denny’s with their Turkey and Dressing Dinner, which is available for a limited time. They are emphasizing take-out orders so you’ll have to order in advance.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar will remain open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, and it will be serving up meals from the full menu and a special three-course special. The menu includes a choice of Herb-Roasted Turkey or Filet Mignon accompanied by traditional holiday trimmings, including Savory House-Made Stuffing, Green Beans and Onions, family-style Mashed Potatoes and seasonal desserts, such as Harvest New York Cheesecake. Guests can also pair their meal with a glass of Sherry Old Fashioned ($14/15) or COUER by HALL Cabernet Sauvignon—priced at $100 per bottle. Children can enjoy their own special three-course menu for $23! Make your reservations now.

Fogo de Chão

This Internationally-renowned Steakhouse is delivering joy this Thanksgiving with delicious offerings available at restaurants nationwide. Guests will discover both new and traditional Holiday staples with the Full Churrasco Experience including Roasted Turkey and Au Jus, Sweet Potato Casserole, Brazilian Sausage and Apple dressing as well as Cranberry Relish. Guests can also pick up a Brazilian-inspired Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go* that serves up to six people and includes the same Holiday staples offered in-restaurant, alongside warm pão de queijo, sautéed Asparagus and Cocoa Fudge Brownies with Chocolate Ganache for dessert. Fogo’s Founders Trilogy Wine Box ($89) also returns beginning Nov. 1st for purchase in-restaurant or To-Go where available, which includes three bottles of South American Red Wine created in honor of Fogo’s founders (Eulila, Jorjão and O’Leão) and a dining card with $25 off two full Churrascos.

Fogo de Chão’s Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go is pre-cooked and ready to reheat at home. Available for pre-orders beginning November 8 by visiting a local restaurant or online via Fogo.com/catering. Thanksgiving Dinner To-Go orders will be available for pick-up by 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 25. Limited delivery on Thanksgiving Day.

Golden Corral

In addition to guest favorites like Steak, Meatloaf and Pot Roast, Golden Corral will also offer a special Thanksgiving Buffet. This feast includes sliced Turkey, carved Ham, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, choice of homestyle sides with their famous Yeast Rolls. Save room for dessert. There will be a choice of Pie! This entire Thanksgiving meal is available to go, but be sure to pre-order online or through their app.

Hooters

Call ahead, but most Hooters locations will be open for business as usual on Thanksgiving.

IHOP

Most IHOP restaurants are open on Thanksgiving Day. Enjoy a sweet breakfast all day of Pumpkin Spice Pancakes, fresh Fruit Belgian Waffles or delicious Crepes. Besides Pancakes, you can enjoy a new Cali Roasted Turkey Melt ahead of your Thanksgiving feasts. The sandwich is made with Turkey Breast, hickory-smoked Bacon, Wisconsin Cheese, Cherry Tomatoes, Avocado, Mayo and Multigrain Bread.

Kona Grill

Kona Grill is offering the ultimate Thanksgiving feast – from Nov. 24th-28th, guests can eat, drink and give thanks with a special feast featuring Kona Grill’s Macadamia Nut Turkey), Traditional Roasted Turkey, Turkey Mucho Loco, Pumpkin Spice Old Fashioned Cocktail and Pumpkin Pie desert. The full Kona Grill Menu, Kids Thanksgiving Specials and Thanksgiving Dinner Takeout and Delivery are also available.

Krispy Kreme

Starting Nov. 8th, Krispy Kreme is helping guests show “Gobbles of Gratitude” with the new Thanksgiving Collection: Pecan Pie Doughnut, Cranberry Orange Doughnut, Dutch Apple Pie Doughnut and Gobbler Doughnut. Even sweeter, guests can express their gratitude through Krispy Kreme’s limited-edition custom gratitude box, which even includes a space for fans to share their personal gratitude note on top.  

Luby’s

For $11.99, dine on Luby’s Thanksgiving special, which includes an entrée, Cornbread Dressing, two sides, a Dinner Roll and dessert. Yummy!

Macaroni Grill

They are giving everyone something to be grateful for this Thanksgiving with an array of options for every type of celebration. All Macaroni Grill locations will be open on Thursday, Nov. 25 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm and serving up a traditional Thanksgiving Three Course Prix Fixe menu – including Soup or Salad, Roasted Turkey Breast, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Sausage & Apple Stuffing, Brussels Sprouts or Broccolini and dessert – for only $29.99 per person. This special prix fixe will also be available for pickup and delivery when customers order online at MacaroniGrill.com. Of course, those looking to celebrate from home and skip the cooking can take advantage of a special Take-and-Warm Turkey Feast with all the fixings to feed 5 or 10 people. Once home, they simply need to heat according to the included instructions or freeze for up to six weeks, thawing and baking once needed.

For to-go meals make sure to order by Nov. 21 and pickup between Nov. 23 – 25.

Maggiano’s Little Italy

This Italian restaurant will be open! Large groups of four to five people can enjoy either of the two Maggiano’s family-style Thanksgiving meal. The first four-course option includes a Caesar Salad, an assortment of sides, Pumpkin Praline Cheesecake for desert and a la carte vegetables ($69.99). This is available for carryout, and you can pickup on Nov. 23rd or Nov. 24th. The second three-course option (with additional add-ons available) is available for pickup on Thursday heated and ready to serve for $179.99. Bundles are available to order online starting Nov. 16, or call your local restaurant to place your order today. 

Marie Callender’s

Marie Callender’s offers each guest their choice of a freshly roasted Turkey dinner or oven-baked Ham. Each is served with all of the fixings, a cup of Creamy Potato Cheese Soup or House Salad, and a slice of either Apple or Pumpkin Pie. Price and participation vary by location, so visit their locations page to view your local Marie Callender’s Holiday menu and order online.

Metro Diner

All diners will remain open for Holiday feast pickups and table service until 2:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. 

Let Metro Diner make Thanksgiving easy and delicious with their Heat and Serve Holiday Feasts To-Go that feed up to eight featuring fresh Roasted Turkey or Maple Glazed Baked Ham with bountiful sides to enjoy around your table, along with limited time festive specials.  Pre-orders start Nov. 2 – Nov. 22 and pickup times are from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23rd and Wednesday. Nov. 24th, and from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 25. Morton’s Steakhouse

Morton’s Steakhouse will be open for Thanksgiving, so you can expect a mouthwatering Holiday meal at this tried-and-true Steakhouse. Their Holiday menu is $59 per person and offers a starter, entrée and desert. They also have $49 Wine bottle pairings available. You can also order a family style dinner to-go that feeds four for $179, and you must place your order by Nov. 23rd. 

Popeye’s

This year, select Popeye’s locations will be open on Thanksgiving, and will offer pick-up and contactless delivery options for their delicious Cajun Style Turkeys.

Ruby Tuesday

Participating Ruby Tuesday locations will be open for business, serving the regular menu. Who says you can’t celebrate Thanksgiving with Burgers and Fries?

Ruth’s Chris Steak House

Ruth’s Chris Steak House says the best meals are the ones you don’t worry about. Take the stress out of Thanksgiving dinner and enjoy their In-Restaurant Thanksgiving Day Menu, which includes a special prix fixe menu includes a starter (choice of Caesar Salad, Steak House Salad or Lobster Bisque), entrée (sliced Oven Roasted Turkey, Ruth’s Sausage and Herb Stuffing, homemade Turkey Gravy and Cranberry Relish), side (choice of Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Creamed Spinach, Sweet Potato Casserole, or Green Beans with Roasted Garlic) and dessert (chef’s selection). Each purchase also includes leftovers to take home. 

You can also pre-order a meal (plus all the sides) to-go until Nov. 22, available for pick-up on Nov. 24. Plus, Ruth’s Chris also has a special Holiday gift card promotion available Nov. 1 – Dec. 21. Customers will receive a $40 bonus with every purchase of a $200 Ruth’s Chris gift card. The offer is available for both e-card and physical card purchases, and gift cards are valid for redemption between Jan. 1 – March 31, 2022. 

Smokey Bones

Smokey Bones will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, offering their full menu and taking online and catering orders. Enjoy house-smoked premium meats like Sliced Smoked Turkey, which includes Turkey Breast rubbed with House Spices and Hickory Smoked for three hours as well as Barbecue specialties, mouthwatering half-pound Burgers and a bar stocked with signature Craft Cocktails, 40+ Bourbons and Whiskeys and 40+ Beer selections. You can also try their brand new Brisket Stuffed Grilled Cheese, Slow Braised Pork Shank, Asian Not-Chos and Meatloaf.

 STK Steakhouse 

From Nov. 25th – 28th, STK will be serving up a Roasted Turkey Special featuring tender Turkey Breast and Confit Thighs with Cornbread, Sage Stuffing, Sautéed Green Beans with crispy Shallots, Maple Baked Sweet Potato, Yukon Gold Potatoes with Parmesan Crust, classic Gravy and Cranberry Orange Chutney for only $59 per person ($29 for children 12 and under). Guests can complete their Holiday dining experience by adding slice of Pumpkin Pie, served with Candied Ginger Cream and Crunchy Caramel Honeycomb, to their order for just $12. 

But, should customers want to dine at home this year, STK has them covered with a special Roasted Turkey Dinner for Two that includes all the traditional fixings and dessert that can be carried out or delivered right to their door for just $119 (additional servings available for $55 each). 

Sullivan’s Steakhouse

This Thanksgiving, all locations nationwide will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with special Holiday offerings. Guests can savor and enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving Three Course Prix Fixe menu – including Soup or Salad, hand-carved Roasted Turkey, the choice of two sides and dessert – for only $45 per person when dining in-restaurant this Holiday. 

In addition, for those looking to dine at home, Sullivan’s will be offering a special Take-and-Warm Thanksgiving Dinner for five or ten people with all the traditional fixings being served up in restaurant, making the Holiday easy and delicious. Pre-order from Nov. 1 to 22, with pickup available from 11 a.m. Nov. 23rd to noon on Nov. 25th. Delivery available at select locations.

T.G.I Fridays

They will be open on Thanksgiving Day, but check ahead with your local restaurant.

Waffle House

Waffle House will be serving up their classic breakfast 365 days a year, including Thanksgiving Day.

White Castle

Open! They are offering 99-cent Coffee (any size) on Black Friday, Nov. 26th and a Thanksgiving treat of $10 off the Family Crave Meal (20 Cheese Sliders, four small Fries and four small soft drinks) between Nov. 26th and Nov. 28th when ordered through Uber Eats, Grubhub and Postmates.
