Texas Roadhouse

The Mommies Reviews

When David and I started dating and then moved in together David always made it a point to take me out to dinner on Friday evenings because we were both working.

This was our date night after dinner we would go to the Mall and walk around. Or we would go and see a Movie unless there was a event I wanted to attend. A lot of the time we took my sister with us because her husband worked nights.

Then Charlie came along and our Date Night turned into Family Night. David still made it a point to take our family out once a week. Fast forward 12 years and we still have make it a point to go to dinner once a week and just sit and talk.

Although instead of Friday’s we now go out on Thursday evenings . When we go out to dinner its to places Charlie likes to eat. Charlie is so picky and doesn’t like a lot of restaurants

The one restaurant Charlie loves and always wants to go to is Texas Roadhouse. With Texas Roadhouse being close to our home we have dinner here a lot.

I like knowing Texas Roadhouse offers a Early Dine Special which if Monday through Thursday until 6:00 PM. Texas Roadhouse offer certain meals for $8.99.

Texas Roadhouse has two meals my family always knows they can find on the Early Dine Special allowing us to save money when we dine out. The first meal is Chicken Strips which David and Charlie order.

The Chicken Strip meal is enough for David and Charlie to share then we only have to purchase two meals. If Charlie is still hungry I share my Steak with him.

I order the Steak from the Early Dine Menu which comes with two sides. I usually get a Loaded Baked Potato and Salad. Unless I decided I want the Chili. Texas Roadhouse has other sides I like as well. I’ve gotten Green Beans in the past.

The Steak is a meal I always chose although I’m going to start asking my waiter if they can leave the Rock Salt off the skin of my Potato. I like to eat the skin of my potato because that is where the vitamins are.

I ask for my steak to be cooked Medium Well and when the steak is brought to my table it’s always perfect. My potato has just the right amount of Cheese, Bacon Bits and Sour Cream.

Although the next time we go to Texas Roadhouse I think I’m going to try the Chicken or Pork Chop for something different. I wonder if Charlie will try these with me?

Charlie and David always get the Chicken Strips. David does Double Fries with no Seasoning Salt. We all love the taste of the Steak Fries.

The Chicken Strips are big enough and there is is enough of them for David and Charlie to share. I usually have the left overs for lunch the next day and the Chicken Strips are just as good the second day as they were the first day.

David and Charlie have even picked out Macaroni and Cheese as one of there sides which we all liked that a lot. I tried the Green Beans which were so good. Then one time I asked for Applesauce which was nice and refreshing.

My favorite part of my meal at Texas Roadhouse is the endless Rolls they bring out to our table. David likes the Cinnamon Honey Butter Texas Roadhouse serves with the Rolls but I always ask for plain butter which the waiters are happy to bring to me.

David orders a Beer and we try and go to the Early Dine Special because because its during Happy Hour. David is able to save money on the Beer he likes purchases.

Texas Roadhouse is the perfect restaurant for families, Date Nights or someone eating by themselves. There is something for everyone including Appetizer’s.

Here is the Early Dine Specials if you come in before 6:00 pm Monday through Thursday, the following entrees are only $8.99:

IT’S WHAT MAKES US LEGENDARY!

It all began on February 17, 1993, when Kent Taylor opened the first Texas Roadhouse in Clarksville, Indiana. Kent’s goal was to own not just a family restaurant and not just a steak restaurant, but a place where everyone, of all ages, could come and have a great meal and great fun for a great price.

We like to brag about our Hand-Cut Steaks, Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, Made-From-Scratch Sides, and Fresh-Baked Bread. Everything we do goes into making our hearty meals stand out.

We handcraft almost everything we serve. We provide larger portions so you get more food for your dollar. And if you want an Ice Cold Beer or Legendary Margarita to wash it all down — well, we have those, too.

Our food’s not the only thing that’s Legendary at the Roadhouse — our fun is too! From our line dancers to our jukebox to our friendly servers, you’ll enjoy every second you spend in a Texas Roadhouse .

At Texas Roadhouse our team has an incredible sense of pride in everything we do. Our passion ensures you have a Legendary Experience every time.

Because of our passion for our guests and our communities, our team members are involved outside the restaurants in their local communities as a way to give back.

Texas Roadhouse story is simple. Legendary Food, Legendary Service®

all with lots of Legendary Fun!

Thank you, Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
