In our Homeschool Music Class this morning Charlie will be checking out a Teeny Tiny Turntable Includes 3 Mini-LPs to Play! from RunningPress.com sent me Teeny Tiny Turntable in exchange for a review.
Charlie was so surprised to see Teeny Tiny Turntable sitting on my desk. Charlie looked over the box and liked the design of diamonds that reminded me of the 70’s. Charlie found the stickers that included Classic Rock and Rock On which Charlie wanted. Groovy and funk and I liked groovy. Jazz which is David’s favorite music and Smooth which Charlie hadn’t heard of before and will research in our Music Class this week. Would you like to join us and listen to Smooth Music?
The Teeny Tiny Turntable reminded me of the Record Players that was out when I was a teenager. I wish I could find one now or a record cabinet to house the vinyl I collect. Charlie was amazed to see the record needle would move up and down. I wish you could have seen David and Charlie\s faces when I put the records on the Turntable and the music began playing.
Having 3 different records allowed us to have a variety of music to listen to and discuss. It was funny when Charlie recognized one of the songs before David and I did. Even though we grew up with the music. Charlie and I discussed how you have to be careful with the records or they can end up scratched and not play.
There was a book about the Teeny Tiny Turntable which Charlie will be reading in our Homeschool Reading Class. In the book they included the |top 10 chart topping record albums” including Kimi Hendrix. The Beatles Abby Road which is one of my favorite songs. They included fun facts we can share with our friends and family.
David liked learning about Pink Floyd and had fun sharing some of their music with Charlie. They even included one of my favorite singers Elton John Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Bruce Springsteen who I used to have a poster of hanging on my wall as a teenager which Charlie and I searched. for.
Queen and my best friend Debbie’s favorite group who is obsessed with Freddie Mercury. David Bowie who when Charlie has blond hair looks like or George Micheal who wasn’t included in the book. Before you ask me if this is all that is inside the book no, it isn’t but you will need to pick up your own Teeny Tiny Turntable to find out what else is included.
