I would like to share another Retro Cookbook Charlie and I found in the box of books Granny Sherry sent Charlie to use in our Homeschool Cooking Class. This cookbook is Taste of Home Quick Cooking Annual Recipes, written by the Author Catherine Cassidy Editor-in-Chief.
I love the background of the cookbook which is purple and it says Easy Meals for Busy FAMILIES which most of us are. There is over 650+ recipes and tips to make a families life easier. As soon as Charlie saw the Waffles and the Pulled Pork Sandwiches on the cover Charlie couldn’t wait to share the cookbook with his dad.
I love how there is icons in the book that let’s us know if the recipe is fast fix, 5 ingredients, eat smart which I defiantly need to do or freeze it and Charlie could use it on a day when we don’t feel like cooking. Or are running around like a Chicken with its head cut off.
There is even a section called Cooking for Kids which Charlie can’t wait to look through and see what he can find to make for a Halloween and Christmas Party Charlie want’s to hold and invite Lily and Jason over for Games and Snacks. Would you like to join us?
Charlie being Charlie said I don’t know what Lily will want but Jason and I want to try out Waffle Iron Pizzas. Would you like to try these with them. Lily and I are going to have Snowman Beach Cups with is a Dessert made with Jello which most children like and even adults like me.
