Taste of Home 365 Days of Cookies!

Charlie and I were discussing what he could prepare for his cooking class  in our Homeschooling class. When I remembered a cookbook I had received at Christmas Taste of Home 365 Days of Cookies I went to get it off my bookshelf. Charlie asked me what I was doing and I told him to hold on I had a surprise for him.

I asked Charlie to come to the dining room table once he sat down I showed Charlie Taste of Home 365 Days of Cookies. We down to thumb through the cookbook and both of us were amazed at the variety of cookie recipes inside. When David came home he saw the cookbook on the dining room table and sat down to thumb through Taste of Home 365 Days of Cookies with Charlie and me.

I can’t wait to go grocery shopping as Charlie and I have decided to make cookies this week to surprise David with. We searched through the cookbook to figure out which cookies to make and I stumbled upon a Oatmeal Raisin Cookie recipe and they are David’s favorite cookies so we decided to make them for David.

Charlie even had a fun idea of purchasing cookie cutters that spell out Best Dad Ever to use to cut the cookies out with. Now, we all know this would work with Sugar Cookies but for Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, I am not sure if it will work or not. But if Charlie is wanting to try I will let him. Experimenting is what makes good Chefs.

I love knowing Taste of Home 365 Days of Cookies pages are made to be wiped off when something spills on them because I am sure with Charlie using Taste of Home 365 Days of Cookies to cook with that it will end up dirty. The big rings the pages are on are easy to turn and they do not get stuck together. All the pictures are eye-catching and will make you hungry. Or at least they did Charlie and me.

I love knowing Taste of Home 365 Days of Cookies is full of references  making our cookies so much faster and also easier. I know it will also save us time because if we need to do something in a hurry there are recipes that are marked “Short & Sweet“. With a child with a short attention span, this is perfect for Charlie and me.

I believe with all the tips and cookies inside Taste of Home 365 Days of Cookies that Charlie and I will be cookie experts before long. If you and your family would like to be as well then I suggest you pick up Taste of Home 365 Days of Cookies. One day you might find your self-baking cookies for those you love. Just as Charlie and I will be doing soon.
