Taste of Dallas Presents Versachalk
Charlie, David and I went to Taste of Dallas this weekend to look check out all the restaurants and Vendors. While at Taste of Dallas I wanted to stop and speak to a lady at one booth. I asked David if he would walk ahead and get business cards for me. Once again David did this and didn’t complain at all. I have such a wonderful husband.
Once David was done gathering the business cards he came back to where I was. David let me know he had something to show me. I walked over to the booth David wanted me to see and all I could say was OMG…
The business David wanted me to check out was Versachalkboard as we got close to the booth all I could say was man on man I need to check out there website once I get home.
This morning I sat down to look up Versachalk website. I am so excited to tell you Versachalk offers chalkboards and Chalkboard Contact paper which we can use in place of the paint we purchased for Charlie’s room.
The Chalkboard Contact Paper would be much easier to put up and take down than painting Charlie’s room. The Chalkboard Contact Paper wouldn’t give me a headache like the chalkboard paint might do. I could put the Chalkboard Contact Paper up in the dining room.Then if I didn’t like Chalkboard Contact Paper in the dining room I would be able to move Chalkboard Contact Paper to another wall unlike the red chalkboard paint Charlie wants to use in his room.
I can’t wait to order a roll of the Chalkboard Contact Paper for my dining room as well as the markers which come in classic or neon colors. Inside my office I would like to get the neon markers and for the dining room I would like to order the classic markers.
David, Charlie and I were given a set of labels I wanted to put up to use when we had the walls done but Charlie didn’t want to wait so he opened his pack of labels last night and wrote on them. Now, I have to figure out how to get the writing off those labels so we can rewrite on them and use them in Charlie’s bedroom.
When I was on Versachalk I saw a kit for Chalkboard and Whiteboard Cleaning Kit which will allow me to keep our chalkboard clean at all times. as well as allow me to clean off our labels
I just wish I had known about Versachalk when I was homeschooling Charlie. As I would have used these chalkboards in my classroom for our math and also art projects. As well as handwriting classes and Science.
