I would like to share a story with you with you on why it is so important to let others know which business you are with. No, matter where you are or what you are doing. Make it a point to talk to everyone. Before I share this story with you I would like to let you know to not always make it about what you do. Get to know the person your talking to find out what they do and what they like. Ask about there families or if there is something you can help them with.
Try to leave home with the mindset that you will speak to at least 3 new people a day. As you never know if you will be the only person they talk to that that day and you might actually change someone’s life. As they could be upset or having a bad day and a smile could change the way they were looking at things around them.
The reason I shared this information with you is I would like to let you know that while I was out in the community hanging flyers up for the American Legion Benefit Craft Fair I have meet so many people that have gone out of there ways to help me. From sharing the event for me to coming to the event. Or inviting there friends or family. Or giving me donations or setting there business up at the event.
This also happened when I was putting together the Fundraiser for Major Cheney Elementary School a couple years ago. I had went into our local Dollar General/ Family Dollar Store on Denton Highway in Haltom City. As we were inside the store David and I were waiting in line to check out. Back then I must have been purchasing something for the blog or talking about the event as I remember mentioning The Mommies Reviews, when the cashier let me know she was also a Blogger and as well as a Consultant for It Works.
I went home with Tara’s information and we have been friends ever since. and we help each other out with projects and things we are working on. Just like with the American Legion Benefit Craft Fair because if Tara had been able to she was going to make me a flyer for the event and would have been one of my Sponsors at the event.
For some reason that didn’t work out but it is okay as it just means it wasn’t the right time and God had other plans for Tara and I. Although if your needing items done for your business or blog Please contact Tara as she creates flyers and also websites and blogs. I know Tara would be very happy to help you out.
I would like to ask if you would check out Tara’s site Creation of Miracles as she has some wonderful Shirts for sale and will be adding more to the store soon. I just wish she had them in a local Boutique so she could have brought them out to the event as I know they would have sold like hot cakes
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
