Billy Graham passed away at the age of 99

The Mommies Reviews
Just a few minutes ago I found out evangelist Billy Graham passed away at the age of 99.  is now face to face to face with our creator and savior!  Can you say AMEN!
As I read this post I didn’t even realize I was crying until Charlie walked up and touched me on the check and asked me what was wrong. I couldn’t speak as I had to catch my breath. Then I sat down to tell Charlie the news although he didn’t know who he was he could tell how much it affected me and I am.

What a great man of God and integrity.  I thought I would share Kathy Lee Gifford this morning and how she talked about her faith on the air and about Billy Graham as it brought me to even more tears.

I know when I was very young my parents went to Church but as I got older the stopped going. Which I am not sure why they did. Although they made sure my sister, brother and I went each Sunday. Once we got home we knew we would be having Sunday Dinner and that the tv would be on in the background.

As my parents would be watching Billy Graham and if we went to my grandparents they had it on in the background as well. I can still hear my mom asking my dad when I grew up to take her to see Billy Graham as he was in Fort Worth and my dad did. Which surprised me. So I know my mom is rejoicing in Heaven this morning as she is able to meet Billy Graham in person and to introduce him to my daughter.

I just wish I had been able to see him before he was called home as I would have liked for Charlie to hear at least one of his Sermons as this man is the first person to introduce me to the Lord and the reason I live my life the way I did. Without Billy Graham, I don’t know where I would be.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie, and David Cates
