SUPERPOWER DOGS 3D

The Mommies Reviews

I was able to attend the screening SUMMER FAMILY MEDIA DAY At The Perot Museum Of Nature and Science set for Tuesday, JUNE 11. We were able to attend SUPERPOWER DOGS 3D FILM SCREENING.

SuperPower Dogs 3D

For me being able to attend SuperPower Dogs 3D was even more special. I was able to bring my niece Alyssa and her children my great- niece and nephew to the screening. With Alyssa’s sister Brittney.

Charlie was with me for the screening but David was working. Once SuperPower Dogs 3D finished Charlie and I both knew we wanted to bring David back to see the movie.

SuperPower Dogs 3D

Along with my sister Debbie who would love the Hound dogs in SuperPower Dogs 3D. Charlie hasn’t stopped telling his friends about the film and what all the dogs did.

If I were still Homeschooling Charlie I would be building a lesson plan around SuperPower Dogs 3D because there are so may teaching experiences. Charlie could and should learn about dogs.

Lily and Jason playing

Charlie loved trying out the Puppy Chow, his favorite was the chocolate flavored treat. Charlie, Lily and Jason have asked me if we can make Puppy Chow at home.

I loved how once SuperPower Dogs 3D finished the host asked the audience questions. Which gave me the chance to see what all David, Lily and Jason learned.

Brittney let me know she enjoyed SuperPower Dogs 3D and would like to bring her brother back. Brittney and Alyssa said it wouldn’t only be to see SuperPower Dogs 3D but to check out the exhibits with her brother.

Alyssa shared with me she would like to return to school to be a Veterinarian. She said after seeing the different dogs and the jobs they have she wouldn’t mind doing Search and Rescue if she weren’t married and had little children.

After the screening we took Lily and Jason to the Art of the Brick (presented in English and Spanish) . Lily and Jason were able to experience the world’s largest and most elaborate display of art using only LEGO® bricks.

A CNN top 10 “must-see” exhibition, The Art of the Brick incorporates millions of LEGO bricks to inspire ingenuity and creativity with original pieces and re-imagined versions of some of the world’s most famous masterpieces.

Your able to discover your inner architect in The Science of the Brick, the hands-on, interactive LEGO brick gallery presented by Texas Instruments, which features building challenges and open play spaces. The Art of the Brick is presented by Highland Capital Management and the Dallas Tourism Public Improvement District.

Charlie loved being able to share the Lego’s designs with Alyssa and Brittney. They had fun picking out there favorite designs. Jason let us know he liked the Dinosaur.Lily chose the Red Dress which was also a painting. As well as my favorite.

I had been to The Art of the Brick in the past but I didn’t realize the paintings on the wall matched the Lego displays until Charlie pointed out the lady in the red dress in the painting. I can’t wait to share this with David because I don’t think he knew this.

We had lunch in the Museum Café. This was the first time Charlie and I had a chance to try check out the Menu and purchase lunch. Charlie asked for a Kids Meal.

We looked over the different meals and Charlie picked out Chicken Nuggets. Charlie said they was very tasty and he liked the Fries a lot. He gave the Apples to Lily.

Then Charlie asked for a Hot Dog Kids Meal. Charlie shared the Hot Dog with me. I liked the Hot Dog but my favorite was the French Fries. Brittney got a Hamburger which she liked a lot.

Alyssa got a Pepperoni Pizza and a Cheese Pizza her and Lily shared. I asked them if they Pizza’s were enough. Alyssa said they were and she was full.

Alyssa liked the crust and how many Pepperonis came on the Pizza. I asked about the Sauce and she said it was just enough and had a good taste and wasn’t overpowering.

After lunch we ventured into the Children’s Museum. I hadn’t been inside before. I was amazed at all the exhibits they had. The kids played for hours inside and outside in the Sand.

Charlie went to the Sports Hall and raced a Cheetah. Jason and Lilly came and joined Charlie once they finished playing. Both of them enjoyed racing with Charlie.

We ventured by the Gift Shop and I saw the dogs from SuperPower Dogs 3D and the story book which I plan on coming back to purchase for Lily and Jason for Christmas.

Before we left the Museum Brittney and Alyssa went up to the upper levels and checked out the top floors. They loved seeing the Gems and can’t wait to take Lily and Jason back to see the Dinosaurs.

As we were leaving Jason reminded us he hadn’t seen all the Museum. We had to remind Jason he didn’t want to leave the Children’s Museum. Jason asked if he could come back. I let Jason know we would return this Summer I just didn’t know when.

I’m thinking of purchasing tickets for a Snore and Explore Sleepover at the Museum for Jason and his family as well as my family. We haven’t spent the night in a museum. Although Alyssa said she did as a child with her Girl Scout Troop.
