Super Clara: A Young Girl’s Story of Cancer, Bravery and Courage written by Robert Martin and Keira Ely is a children’s book I was contacted about conducting a review for learning about the family behind Super Clara: A Young Girl’s Story of Cancer, Bravery and Courage which had been written by Clara’s grandfather Robert Martin and his other granddaughter
I took the time to sit down to read the press release and I learned Clara was a little girl who dealing with Cancer. I knew Super Clara: A Young Girl’s Story of Cancer, Bravery and Courage was a book I wanted to read because I have lost a lot of people in my family to Cancer.
Even though they weren’t children I did have a friend Brooke who passed away at 16 after fighting to survive Cancer. My mom and grandmother passed away from Cancer. I Pray one day we find a cure to end all kinds of Cancer and no, one has to ever suffer from Cancer again or watch the ones they LOVE fight Cancer because Cancer is the most horrible disease around.
Charlie, David and I started to read Super Clara: A Young Girl’s Story of Cancer, Bravery, and Courage I was brought into the way Clara felt and I liked how they showed Clara as a real person without hair and showed us how Clara overcomes being scared. Charlie and I loved knowing Clara could relate to animals.
I would like to share our favorite part of Super Clara: A Young Girl’s Story of Cancer, Bravery and Courage but I didn’t want to ruin the end of the story for you I would like to ask if you would take the time to read Super Clara: A Young Girl’s Story of Cancer, Bravery and Courage for yourself and to share the book with everyone you know. Charlie, and I plan on doing finding a child who has Cancer and contact them to see if they would like to have a pen pal.

Super Clara: A Young Girl’s Story of Cancer, Bravery, and Courage immediately answers questions in a way that instills comfort to children who are facing some of life’s most challenging moments and Super Clara: A Young Girl’s Story of Cancer, Bravery and Courage gives kids a much-needed boost of courage.
Robert Martin and granddaughter Keira wrote Super Clara: A Young Girl’s Story of Cancer, Bravery and Courage for his other granddaughter Clara, who, like the girl in the story, was diagnosed with terminal brain Cancer. The Novel launched as an Amazon #1 bestseller and all profits go directly to Bridge to a Cure Foundation.
“Last year on St. Patrick’s Day,” Martin, says “my granddaughter Clara— Keira’s younger sister — was diagnosed with terminal brain Cancer. Since that day, we’ve watched Clara withstand aggressive radiation, invasive brain surgery and months of highly toxic chemotherapy with an attitude that redefines the word ‘courage.’ Keira and I wrote Super Clara: A Young Girl’s Story of Cancer, Bravery and Courage to honor that courage, and to show other children who may be going through something similar that they, too, can find their courage.”
