Super American Christmas Circus

The Mommies Reviews

Media Event

My family was invited out to the Super American Circus at Traders Village in Grand Prairie, Texas. Both Charlie and David were surprised there was a event her and both of them thought we would have to pay to park but we didn’t have to. The Circus is set up front so you don’t even enter Traders Village.

We parked and walked up to the Ticket Booth and were given a ticket to use for Food. As we walked in Charlie and I were surprised to see all the choices. We stopped by the Booth to look at the Lights. Charlie and I ventured into the Big Top.

I liked how there were chairs next to the Ring for the VIP or Bleachers which Charlie chose to sit on. Not having assigned seats let us pick out were we wanted to sit. Charlie climbed onto the Bleachers and David and I sat with Charlie.

Charlie and I were good but David didn’t buy us any toys, but next time Charlie and I both want a light of our own.

The event last 90 minutes and I was able to get up and walk when I began to hurt from sitting to long. Then I moved to the Chairs and had the perfect view. I loved how when the Circus began Charlie didn’t move all night. Charlie laughed and talked to me about the events happening.

We discussed the Wheel of Tower and how high it was and what made it work and will study more about it in our Homeschool Science Class. I loved the Elf and all the antics she got into including flying through the air. Charlie said if he could have her as his Elf on the Shelf then he would take one.

They had me at NACHO’s and COTTON CANDY!!

We were able to see Santa and have a family picture taken using our own phone. I loved how throughout the event they would sing Christmas Carols and my favorite part was when the Ring Master sang. I could have listened to him all day. David loved the Trapeze Artist.

The family-friendly production kicks off on Thurs., Dec. 2 and runs on select dates throughout the Holiday Season, with matinee, early evening, and evening performances available. Tickets are on sale now at God willing I would like to bring my niece and nephew back to see the show.

One of the main perks for me was being able to get a Family Photo with Santa.

The Super American Circus is a one-of-a kind take on the traditional Circus. During the event you will see aerialist acrobats, daredevil acts, musical numbers featuring Christmas Carols and songs we’ve all grown up with including a song from Sex and the City my all time favorite show.

David and Charlie wanted me to let you know there is comedy routines. Charlie even let me know some of the performers looked familiar to Charlie and I let Charlie know he might have seen them on “America’s Got Talent,” or the “American Idol,”.

Charlie’s Birthday is right around the corner and after seeing the performers ride unicycles Charlie wants to learn how as well. For Charlie’s Birthday I will be looking for a Unicycle after I invest in Medical Insurance because with him and David one of them may end up in the Hospiital with a broken bone or two.

Here they are climbing on chairs and Charlie being all boy I can see him and his Best Friend making a stand like this and trying it at home. Then inviting their friends to join them.

If you’ve followed the Circus the way I have then I would like to share a bit of information with you. The son of legendary Ringling Brothers ringmaster “Count Nicholas” a Veteran Circus performer himself (his career began in childhood), Tuffy Nicholas one of the most noted figures in the industry, having produced more than 5,000 shows around the world and he is the producer of this show. For me it would have been a dream come true to have meet Tuffy Nicholas in person.

This is the first time they have performed in Texas so you don’t want to miss out because I bet, they will return year after year making this a must have event to bring your families to year after year.
