Summer is over and Charlie started back to school on Monday. Summer has come to an end. I’m sad but excited for Charlie who is in 2nd grade. With the teacher, we had last year I’m afraid Charlie will not be on the right level and will struggle. All I have been doing is Praying that Charlie’s new teacher Mrs. Badger is better and will help him out.
Because of what we went through last year Charlie is scared and doesn’t want to attend school. Charlie feels like he is behind. With Charlie feeling this way I believe it may make Charlie begin to hate school. This means Charlie might do like his sister and brother and quit when he gets into high school. Which I would hate. Please Pray for my son this year.
Are your children back in school? Are you excited or scared? Do your children feel like they’re ready for the grade they will be going into? If not, why do you think they might not be ready? What are you doing to help them overcome this problem?
If you’re a teacher, I wish you a wonderful and fun School year. As the year goes on, please come back and share what you are teaching your students because I’m looking for things to keep Charlie learning even when he doesn’t have homework from his teacher. As you can never ever learn too much.
I was going through the blog and updating pos. I found this one featuring Charlie beginning 2nd grade. Which is so hard to believe Charlie will be in 5th Grade this year and that we are Homeschooling Charlie. When I wrote this post, I never thought that would be what would end up happening.
For Charlie and me I believe homeschooling Charlie was the best thing I could ever do for us. Homeschooling has brought Charlie and I closer. Charlie has been able to learn on his own time. Charlie doesn’t get upset and want to quit school. There is no one here to make fun of Charlie because he doesn’t know something or isn’t on the same level as everyone else.
May I ask what grade your students are in? How do they like school? Charlie would like to know what their favorite subject is in school. Why?
