The StoryBox Review

Today I would like to share a new website with you and it is callled The StoryBox and it is a subscription box club that sends our children books each month that we sign up for. And I think The StoryBox would be perfect for Stop! Drop! & Read! and so as soon as I am able to I will be signing Charlie up for the program. As I know he will enjoy it a lot.

And it will give us new books each month to read during Homeschool. And not only that it will give Charlie books just to read at anytime. And by purchaising a subscription for Charlie I will not have to try and get to the store to purchase books. Or to run up to the library. Especially when Davids hours have changed and he is at work sometimes when the library is open and at home when it is closed.

I like knowing there is 3 different ways to pay for my books. And it is one month, or one month prepay or you can purchase 6 month prepay plan. And for teachers and librains I think this is the perfect way to go. And even Day Care Workers.

As for Charlie and I we like that each set comes with 2 books and we do not know what they are until they arrive as it will allow us to be surprised. And if I wanted to I could sign up and pay each month and put them away till Christmas and Charlie would have a wonderful and unique Christmas.

So today I would like to let you know we was sent Horray For Hat! written by Brian Won and we also Charlie and I also recieved The Perfect Hug written by Joanna Walsh and Judi Abbot. And I hadn’t heard of either book or read anything by either Aritst so it was fun checking out the books and getting to know there writing style. And CHarlie and I both enjoyed both books a lot. And will be looking to see if they have other books out.

The Perfect Hug has the cutest cover ever on it. And both Charlie and I enjoyed the colors they used as well as the animals they picked for it. And Charlie and I loved how they found out the perfect hug for them. And it allowed Charlie and I to discuss how we felt about the hugs we give each other. And I liked seeing Charlie was able to read the book on his own.

And the second book was Hooray For Hat! and I knew I would like it just from all the animals on the cover of the book. And Charlie liked it a lot as it is his favorite color of blue. And Charlie liked all the different hats inside the book. And it lead to a new Homeshcool lesson as we looked up and discussed different hats. And we went to the Mall to see what kinds of hats we could find. And we had so much fun checking out the different hats. And I can not wait to go back and do it again.

And both Charlie and I enjoyed how the story started out with Elephant started out Grouchy as it allowed Charlie to see how he can help his friends or family out when they are sad or grouchy just by giving them something. And I was able to show Charlie that you do not have to spend money on a Gift as you can make your friends something and it would make them just as happy. And it would make Charlie feel good as well.

So today I would like to invite you to check out TheStoryBox.com  and to check out both Authors websites as well. Brian Won and HHM Books and I am excited to let you know             Brian Won does have other childrens books out and I can not wait to check into them.

And if you would like to check out The Perfect Hug you can find it at Kids.SimonandSchuster.com And I enjoyed checking out this website as it has childrens books listed by age so I would know exactly which book to purchase anyone on my list.

I also like how The Story Box comes with a Parents Guide as it gives me different ideals of things Charlie and I can do together. Such as having a Scavenger Hunt. Which Charlie has been wanting to do. As I was explaing them to him one day and he hadn’t ever been able to do one. But his sister Suzzane did and he wants to do the things she did.

So all if all both Charlie and I loved The Story Box and I just wish there was a club like this for adults as I love to read and I read everyday. And I think it would be fun to be surprised by what books are sent to me. So if you haven’t heard of The Story Box I hope you take the time to check it out as soon as possible. because I know you will like it as much as Charlie and I did.

Also do not forget to sign up for Stop! Drop! & Read!
