Stop! Drop! & Read! Begins tomorrow!!
Hello, and how are you this afternoon? I wanted to remind you Stop! Drop! & Read! Starts tomorrow and we would love having you come and join us. As this is our first time to do the challenge. But it should be a lot of fun. And we will have prizes for both adults and children. So leave me a comment that you will be joining us and how many in your family will be reading.
Because both Charlie and I have already picked out the 4 books we will be reading in June. As the challenge is for you and your children to read for 20 minutes every Friday. And for Charlie and I that isn’t that much as I read everyday and I try and get Charlie to as well. So why not earn Gifts for reading??
And if you stop in at your local library most of them have Summer Reading Programs and you can earn even more prizes for reading. And Charlie and I went and signed up yesterday at the library in Hurst. And I am so excited to do this with Charlie as he has a chance to win a ticket to the Texas Rangers game and also Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus and I know Charlie will enjoy attending both of these programs.
And I talked to Aidon’s mom Tammy and she is going to let Aidon join the challenge with us. And I know this will help keep Charlie more interested in reading. As he will not want Aidon to read more than he does. And if the truth be none I do not want them to outread me as I also want to win some prizes. So come and join us for both reading challenges.
