Gardening is calming and can happen anytime of the year which is why I’m excited to share our newest Sponsor inside our Christmas Gift Guide. You will find the new company inside our Christmas Gift Guide: Shopping for: Home Decor. The company is Sprigbox for our Gardening.
Sprigbox are small wooden cubes that come with everything you need to grow your own little Urban Garden. Just add water! Making this the perfect Gift for anyone on your Christmas Shopping List.
I received Grow Kit – Basil which isn’t something we usually use when cooking having. Sprigbox has changed us using Basil. Growing our own food makes me more excited to make dinner. I can’t wait for our kit to grow and to get Charlie and David into the kitchen with me.
Characteristics:
Aloe Vera, also called the first aid plant, is an easy-going succulent known for its tropical flare and sunburn-soothing properties. But that’s not all – the clear gel found within the plant has been used for makeup remover, hair conditioner, and even brow gel! And did you know Aloe Vera has also been shown to remove toxic chemicals from the air?
Being a succulent, Aloe Vera loves to be saturated with water, then left to dry out completely before the next watering. It also loves lots of sunshine so be sure to pick a sunny windowsill to grow this green goddess.
This Sprigbox is an all-inclusive garden kit containing natural seeds and a special growing media. The only thing missing is water and a loving home.
Instructions:
- Remove paper sleeve packaging and sticker. Empty seed packet into soil.
- Carefully pour 2 tablespoons of water into the soil or until saturated.
- Keep your Sprigbox in a bright & warm place and water daily or when the surface feels dry.
- Sprouts will begin to show in 14-21 days. Water daily and enjoy watching it grow!
- After about 3-6 months, re-pot your Sprigbox into a larger pot with soil for further growth.
I let Charlie and David know I would like to have Grow Kit – Lavender which smell nice and is calming and would be the perfect addition to our Coffee Table.
For David and Charlie’s Christmas Stocking I would like to get them Key Chain – Cactus which would look cute hanging on our Christmas Tree if they weren’t put into the Stockings.
My mother in law makes Chili for David Sr. and I for dinner a couple times a week. For her I would like to get the Grow Kit – Chili. Then Sherry could teach Charlie how to make her Chili for me and dad.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
