Spooky Sleuth and Solve

The Mommies Reviews

Good morning, I would like to share a new Children’s book Sleuth & Solve: Spooky: Decode Mind-Twisting Mysteries Inspired by Classic Creepy Characters published by Victor Escandell which I was sent a copy of in exchange for this review.

Like a lot of children getting Charlie to put down Electronics and to read a book is hard and drives me batty most of the time. Especially when I prefer reading a book to watching TV.

But with me Homeschooling Charlie I have to make sure he is reading daily and that isn’t easy. Because I will ask Charlie to get a book and he finds a million reasons to get up.

I don’t honestly think Charlie even reads one page of the books I ask Charlie to pick out for Reading Class. But I think I have solved that problem with Sleuth & Solve: Spooky: Decode Mind-Twisting Mysteries Inspired by Classic Creepy Characters.

Not only will Charlie be reading the Story he will have to figure out the Mysteries happening in Sleuth & Solve: Spooky: Decode Mind-Twisting Mysteries Inspired by Classic Creepy Characters. Which Charlie and David can do together. Then Charlie and I can discuss the characters and Charlie can draw them for our Art Class.

I love how they included the answers in the back of the book because if we get stuck we can check them out and then use the answers to go back through the Mystery and see what we missed and how the Author came up with the answer to that Mystery.

I could even see us hosting a Murder Mystery Night and acting out the Mysteries in the book and then making up our own Murder Mystery to host on Halloween. Would you like to come to our show?
