Spontuneous

The Mommies Reviews

This is a review for Spontuneous which I was sent in exchange for a spot in my Father’s Day Gift Guide but with what is happening in the world I thought Homeschooling Families should know about Spontuneous.

I fell like the wind was ripped out of my SAILS this morning. Covid-19 is on the rise again. Starting tomorrow evening we are required to wear Mask until August 3rd.

For me wearing a mask is hard because I can’t breath with a mask. Not only that I know it’s going to affect the children returning to school. Charlie and I had been talking about him returning to public school but now he doesn’t feel comfortable and frankly my dear I’m not sure I want him to return to school.

To be on the safe side I’ve been gathering school supplies and board games for us to use if we have to Homeschool. One of the games we will be using is SPONTUNEOUS—THE SONG GAME which is a GREAT GIFT IDEA FOR ALL THE COOL MUSIC-LOVING members in your family!!

If you can’t CAN’T CARRY A TUNE?! NO PROBLEM- TALENT NOT REQUIRED! Thank the LORD because none of my family can and we make dogs howl when we try and sing..

If you would like to order your own game for $29.99 online please visit this website then you will be prepared for Family Game Night, Homeschooling and even have a new Game to give as a Gift.

NASHVILLE, TN (June 9, 2020) Spontuneous – The Song Game is an old fashioned, tabletop board game, with no electronics. It’s a perfect game for that cool music-loving individual and crosses all genres of music.

Families are sometimes hard to buy for, so the song game is a perfect gift to ensure quality time and family fun. Spontuneous has been a #1 Best Seller for the past 3 holiday seasons on Amazon for board games with thousands of 4.5-star reviews.

Created by Nashville-based entrepreneur, Rob Ridgeway, Spontuneous makes a board game out of that crazy occurrence where hearing a particular word spontaneously causes a song to pop into your head.

Ridgeway states that “Spontuneous reviews reflect exactly why we created this game—a fun-filled, non-tech, family-oriented game that connects people through the music they love and the memories they create.”

About Spontuneous –

The Song Game: The broader the tastes the better the fun! Spontuneous’s tag line is, Sing it or Shout it…Talent NOT Required.  So even if you can’t carry a tune in a bucket, this game is still for you.

HOW TO PLAY: The objective of Spontuneous is to stump your opponents from being able to sing a song containing the trigger-word you’ve chosen. The players race to be the first to sing a 5-word portion of a song containing that word.

The first player to begin singing rolls the dice to advance on the game board. If everyone is stumped, the player who announced the word must be able to back it up with a song of their own otherwise they are penalized. The first player to reach the finish line and complete the Spontuneous Challenge wins!

*Great for All Ages, 8 and Up
*Multiple Award-Winning Game
*Crosses All Genres of Music
*4 – 10 Players or Teams
*Length of Play: 30-45 minutes
*Talent NOT Required

About Rob Ridgeway

Celebrating 10 years, Spontuneous—The Game has come a long way since Rob Ridgeway invented it in 2009. From hand selling his products at his first mall kiosk in Billings, Montana to pedi-cabbing the streets of Austin, Texas to make ends meet, Ridgeway has hustled to keep his dream alive.

He’s overcome near-bankruptcy, a brain tumor, medical debt, inventory stranded by a 2014 Port of L.A. strike, and the pessimism of naysayers for Spontuneous to become a bestselling game on Amazon. In 2018, Ridgeway relocated Spontuneous operations to Nashville, TN AKA Music City USA.

Once my family actually sits down and plays Spontuneous I will be back to share our thoughts with you. As we are cleaning out my fathers home this weekend and I was thinking I might take this to play with Charlie instead of making him wait till school begins.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
