SPAWN POINT AND LONE STAR PARK

The Mommies Reviews

It’s been awhile since we have been to Lone Star Grand Park and I have been wanting to return. I enjoy watching the horses race and Charlie and David do as well.

I can’t wait to let David know SPAWN POINT AND LONE STAR PARK are READY TO LAUNCH A REGIONAL ESPORTS ACADEMY and see if he will go with me to check out this event.

Named the Lone Star Park Esports Academy, the events will be held Saturdays during the track’s Quarter Horse racing season beginning September 21 through October 26. Admission to all events will be free with your paid $5 General Admission to the races. The Academy offers players the opportunity to experience Esports firsthand while interacting with industry authorities and professional Esports athletes.

“We partnered with Spawn Point because of their extensive knowledge and resources within the Esports space,” said Paul Monroe, Director of Marketing at Lone Star Park. “This series of events promises to deliver a new and entertaining experience to the track.”

The Lone Star Park Esports Academy will include:

Esports Career Seminars
Led by Esports industry authorities, the seminars are designed to orient players and their family toward possible careers in Esports. Topics covered will include:
An overview of the Esports business – what it is and is not and the various careers involved
Becoming a Pro Player – whether attaining professional status is right for you, how to get started and how to handle the rigors of being an Esports athlete
Becoming a Streamer – how to build a following as a content creator by cultivating and entertaining your audience; what opportunities are available for content creators

Beat the Pro Days
A series of fun competitions where regional Esports players can go head-to-head against professional Esports athletes from around the country. Prizes will be awarded.

Community Days
A series of ad-hoc Esports competitions designed for amateurs to try out new games in a simulated tournament environment and win prizes. Players can also network with Esports professionals.

“Our mission was twofold,” said Hai Ng, Co-Founder of Spawn Point. “Lone Star Park at Grand Prairie looked to us to create a community-friendly series of events that are designed to de-mystify Esports while introducing people of all ages to what has become a billion-dollar global activity that attracts players and spectators from multiple demographics.”
