Join the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art (SVMA) for unique holiday shopping at a discount

Sonoma, Calif. – November 25, 2019 – Mark you holiday shopping calendars and enjoy 20% off storewide (exclusions apply) at the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art (SVMA) Museum Store on Sunday, December 1, 2019, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Museum Store offers a unique shopping experience—locally crafted, fair trade jewelry, ceramics and wire sculptures by local artists, holiday cards, art books and catalogs, and great stocking stuffers such as mood pencils, tarot cards, and more! All visitors to the store will also be entered to win a Sip Sonoma Tote valued at $80. No purchase necessary to enter giveaways.

SVMA members are invited to shop early, from 10-11 a.m., and enjoy mimosas and donuts.

Museum Store Sunday kicks off PATRON PASSPORT, a program beginning Sunday, December 1, and continuing for two weeks through Sunday, December 15, offering shopping discounts in participating museum stores.  Pick up your PATRON PASSPORT, a handy guide of museum store locations in the region, at SVMA’s Museum Store

 PATRON PASSPORT also includes an entry form to win the Grand Giveaway, a gift basket valued at more than $500 filled with mission-related products from all participating museum stores.

For the third consecutive year in a row, more than 1,200 museum stores representing all 50 states and the District of Columbia, 18 countries, and five continents will offer inspired shopping at museums and cultural institutions during Museum Store Sunday.

In the San Francisco Bay Area and Sacramento regions, 15 museums are collaborating to present the PATRON PASSPORT, a self-guided tour of local museum stores presenting special discounts and offers starting on Museum Store Sunday, December 1, and continuing for two weeks through Sunday, December 15. 

Participating area institutions include: Asian Art Museum, California Historical Society, Crocker Art Museum, de Young museum, Filoli, Legion of Honor museum, Marin Museum of Contemporary Art, Museum of Craft & Design, Museum of the African Diaspora, Oakland Museum of California, Olompali State Historical Park, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Sonoma Valley Museum of Art, The Contemporary Jewish Museum, and The Sonoma Barracks.
