While Charlie was working on Homework I ran up to Sonic where I picked up lunch for us. Having lunch from a restaurant was something Charlie used to love when he was in public school. I wanted to keep this memory alive.
As well as support Home Based Restaurants that are struggling during this time of everyone being asked to stay inside. It was sad to be ordering lunch during Happy Hour because the parking lot was empty.
The playground Charlie plays on was empty which is sad because parents like myself use it for Homeschooling PE. There is even a Volleyball court for us to use. I’m glad Charlie wasn’t with me or he would have wanted to play which he can’t do.
Can you guess what we had for lunch? Was it a Bacon Cheeseburger or Tator Tots? No, it wasn’t a Bacon Cheeseburger. Or Cheese Tatar Tots. Man, oh man I will tell you what we had. Charlie had a regular All American Dog with Mustard. I had a Chili Cheese Coney with Mayonnaise. Shh. I know it sounds awful which David is always telling me but it is so good. You should try it.
