Recommended Website: Bring Hispanic Heritage Month to Life
Age Range: 4-18 (Grades PreK-12, with parental supervision) September 15 through October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States. The Scholastic website has put together a collection of resources to celebrate the occasion.
When you get to the site, you can read “A Brief Overview of Hispanic Heritage Month.” Then scroll a bit further down to “Quick Ideas” – two articles with ideas for two age groups on how to celebrate this month. Then see the links on the left for lesson plans and resources including:
