SNOWDAY POP!

The Mommies Reviews

Yesterday Charlie, David and I were invited out to the Galleria Dallas in Dallas, Texas to attend the Media Event for SNOWDAY POP!

During Christmas they held Snow which we didn’t attend that event but I had heard such wonderful things about that its why I wanted to bring my family out to SNOWDAY POP!

POP! – an interactive and immersive experience that is twice the size of its predecessor gives you many opportunities to work on your Photography Skills. For Charlie this was a Extra Curricular Class and a Field Trip which we haven’t been able to take due to Covid-19.

We arrive at SNOW DAY POP for our appointment and was signed in and asked to go over to the Concession Area. While there they got us signed up and showed us how the bracelet we was given would work.

Bringing all the photos we took into our email account saving us time from taking our own Photos. Although, we had Charlie take his own for a class project be will be working on.

We was asked if we would like something to drink but declined and said we would get drinks after the event. While we waited to go inside I enjoyed looking at all the Candy and Soda on display.

I was able to share stories with Charlie about the Laundromat they had set up. My parents worked at one when I was growing up and it was fun to reminisce.

Charlie thought the display of Televisions was cool and he was surprised to find out David had one of them. Then he asked us why Cigarettes was in a machine. Leading to even more stories to share with Charlie from my childhood.

We began to walk through the displays and it was fun seeing David and Charlie’s expressions as they would walk into a room. Charlie loved the Video Games and finding Pac Man while David and I found games we liked to play as a Teenager.

Then we got to the back and I feel in love with the Archway of flowers and the bench putting us into a Park but what captured my heart was the bath tub which I wanted to bring home with me.

David fell in love with the car that you could get inside and play with the knobs making the horn make different sounds and the background change. David loved the racetrack the most.

As we was living Charlie asked if we could return with my niece Lily and my nephew Jason and his best friend Bradley because he wanted to get pictures of them in the attractions and share stories with them.

If your looking for fun unique places to take Instagram photos then SNOWDAY POP! is the place you should visit with those you love. Especially if your Homeschooling which Charlie and I are doing.

There were a couple displays Charlie and I don’t feel safe going into because the colors bothered Charlie’s eyes or I am afraid of heights and it scared me but there isn’t anything here that would hurt anyone and its the perfect event for people of all ages .

“In a nutshell, POP! is all things color, fun, art, lights and cameras,” explains SNOWDAY team member Scot Redman. “We’re able to provide fans with a very different experience than they had at SNOWDAY during the holiday season.

The POP! experience is chock-full of cultural references and visuals, and the unique floorplan allows guests to attend multiple times while truly altering their experience each time. The use of custom RFID technology means that once immersed at POP!, the experience can be entirely touch free!

Galleria Dallas was thrilled to bring the SNOWDAY experience back for its visitors.

“We know many of our guests are unable to travel away this Summer vacation season, and we are excited to provide them with a unique, immersive experience they can visit again and again.”

The exterior of the experience celebrates all things POP! with a creative array of vintage televisions continually updating with visuals and videos reminiscent of the 1950s. Guests who arrive will enter through a lobby designed in the style of a New York City bodega.
