Charlie and I didn’t feel like doing school this morning, so we decided to do a Teacher Inservice Day just like in Public School. I went to find a board game for us to play. Charlie gathered up snacks for us and then Charlie put in SMILING FRIENDS: The Complete First Season. Before the movie began I let Charlie know the movie was to make us smile.
I told Charlie the character in the movie is Pim, Charlie, Allan, and Glep and they go on a journey with Zach Hadel and Michael Cusack, across a bizarre and colorful world. Charlie thought the adventures they went on was funny and he can’t wait to share the movie with his dad. As well as study Brazil in our Homeschool Lessons this year so he can learn more about where the gang went to.
Hearing Charlie laugh and talk about the movie brought a smile to my face as he has been so upset the past couple weeks which is making Charlie and I depressed. Once the movie finished Charlie let me know if they come out with more shows, he would like to watch them as a family which I would do with Charlie and David. Would you like to join us?
