#Sponosred I wanted to share a new book with you called Sins of the Mother which is a novel I received through Voracious Readers and the Author in exchange for this review. Inside this post is my affiliate links. If you click on the links and make a purchase I will make a small percentage off the items you purchase.

Sins of the Mother is a romance my favorite genre to read as well as a story of betrayal. Sins of the Mother is Set in the charming village of Thistlehall in 1831. Sins of the Mother bring us the story of the lives of an unforgettable cast of characters, all connected by the far-reaching consequences of one woman’s actions.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to read this book you should check it out as soon as possible and check the character Mary and Rachel who will keep you on the edge of your seat. Mary steals the show because she’s wicked in ways that really will shock you, but she’s also got this frailty that catches you off guard. You end up feeling for her even when you know you shouldn’t.

Sins of the Mother brings us a lot of suspense and drama creating a plot you will not want to put down once you begin reading Sins of the Mother which is part of a series of 5 books that can be read as a stand-alone and doesn’t have to be read in any particular order. I also can’t wait to check out more books of the Author.

About the book:

In early 19th-century rural Suffolk, England, young shoemaker Charles Barber’s world is transformed when he falls in love with Penelope, the blacksmith’s daughter.

Rachel, Charles’ mother, whose shrouded past and shocking secrets threaten to unravel the fabric of their idyllic romance, is staunchly opposed to their union.

As tensions rise, Penelope’s aunt, the enigmatic Mrs Skinner, reveals unsettling premonitions of the future, both hopeful and haunting.
Enter Charles’ estranged brother, whose malevolent deeds set in motion a cascade of chaos and heartache, leaving an indelible mark on the Barber lineage, including Mary, Charles and Penelope’s darkly ambitious daughter.

Straddling a thin line between victim and villain, Mary’s desires for a life beyond the village’s confines ignite a chain of events that will forever alter the course of the Barber family.

Sins of the Mother invites you to step through a portal to another era, where the intricacies of love and loss are intertwined with the unyielding bonds of family. This captivating saga lays the groundwork for a journey that transcends generations, making you yearn for the next chapter in the Barber Legacy
