A review for a cookbook called SERIOUSLY GOOD FREEZER MEALS: 150 EASY RECIPES TO SAVE YOUR TIME, MONEY & SANITY, written by Karrie Truman. I was sent in exchange for the review although the thoughts are mine and my families. No one else.
Summer here in Texas it can be too hot to cook so we have been eating out much more than we need to so money is flying out the door. I am sick and tired of us eating out for many different reasons. Including the food we purchase in a restaurant may not be healthy. Also, it’s hindering me from losing the weight I would like to lose.
I am excited to be able to share SERIOUSLY GOOD FREEZER MEALS: 150 EASY RECIPES TO SAVE YOUR TIME, MONEY & SANITY with our readers because I want to make a lot of the recipes inside this cookbook. Which will us to stock up our Freezer with healthy meals at any time without spending hours in the kitchen preparing dinner for my family. One thing I liked finding in SERIOUSLY GOOD FREEZER MEAL was they included tips on how to begin stocking our freezer.
10 Freezer Freezer-Meal Myths I can share with my friends and family, so I can keep everyone safe while preparing meals for my family. Kitchen essential list which we may or may not have in our kitchen, so we will know what ingredients we need to purchase to create these unique recipes.
One question I always ask myself is how long will a meal last in the freezer and they have included a guide for us to use and will keep us safe while saving us money because we will not be wasting food by letting it remain in the freezer longer than it should be? The Authors shows us how to cook many meals in one day. As well as how to thaw and cook the recipes we prepare.
I love how they have broken SERIOUSLY GOOD FREEZER MEALS down into the times it takes to prepare the meals, and it begins with beginners and moves up to advanced because everyone knows I am a beginner who is willing to learn.
I need to set the money aside so I can purchase the ingredients I need and to empty out the Freezers, so I have room for the meals we are creating.
I wish I had friends that would like to come and create these meals with me as it is always more fun with a friend. So be watching to see if I can get Charlie and David to help me out. As well as which meals I make and what we thought of the meals we create because I am excited to get started.
I have everything I need for complete dinners from Entrees to Desserts. Charlie says he can’t wait for the Bacon Wrapped Chicken Bites which I would like to make for our family as well as my sisters son David because he lives with her and he loves Bacon as much as I do. Then Charlie and I want to make the Molten Hot Fudge Lava Cake, and no, it isn’t on my diet but sometimes its fun to splurge.
