Last night my family was Blessed to be able to attend a new event we hadn’t been to before. Like a lot of times before we had Bradley our neighbor and Charlie’s best friend with us. Were truly blessed to live next door to B because his parents aren’t that good to him.
Infact now he is living with his grandfather, so he has been spending even more time with us. I am always Blessed when I’m able to take the boys to attend Holiday activities because being 14 and 15 soon they will not want to hang out with David and me.
Bradley mom doesn’t do much with her family, but the other day B’s grandfather Tommy took them all to Santa’s Country Christmas. Bradley hasn’t stopped talking about the Event and how much fun they had. The more excited B got the more David and Charlie wanted to go.
Christmas has been hard on my family this year. 2 different families we know have Buried someone we love. The events we usually attend didn’t invite us out. David is working doubles to allow us to be able to even purchase Gifts this year. I wasn’t able to put money back to purchase the tickets to take the boys to events like I had planned.
But the Lord has been opening up new doors including Santa’s Country Christmas and I’m believing when David’s check come’s in this morning there will be enough left over for us to attend Santa’s Country Christmas this evening. If not, then this will be the first place, we visit next year.
I know Christmas is tomorrow, but it isn’t too late to make memories with your family. If you aren’t busy this evening loads your car up and invite your friends and neighbors and head to Santa’s Country Christmas. Then come back and let me know what your favorite part of the event was and why.
