Charlie loves playing games when it is just him and I. So the other day I saw a post where I could review some educational games from RoosterFinn. SoI asked about them and was accepted. I was over the moon!! As I was sent Lumpy Cubes and also Monkeys Up.
So today I would like to let you know I was sent RoosterFin Lumpy Cubes by Joe Roosterfin. In exchange for this review. But the thoughts in the review on Lumpy Cubes is all mine and Charlies.
So Friday night I went and got out Lumpy Cubes from RoosterFin games to look at and as soon as Charlie saw I had Lumpy Cubes in my hands he asked if we could play. So I said yes, help me clean off the dinning room table and will get us some snacks and a drink. Because when we play we usually play for a couple hours.
So as we sat down at the table together I showed Charlie the list on the box that held Lumpy Cubes and offered Quick Tips about Lumpy Cubes. Once Charlie was done reading it I asked what he thought about Lumpy Cubes he says “LETS PLAY” as it sounds like it will be a lot of fun.
So since it was only Charlie and I we each picked out our colors we wanted to be from Lump Cubes. I was green and Charlie was blue. Now after we played for a few minutes we both figured out we could play two different colors at once. Which we are going to do this evening. I can not wait to see which of us will win. Although if truth be none Charlie does cheat sometimes. But do not tell him I said that.
Having to use your Memory is great because Charlie does have a focus problem and this will help with that. I also like that it takes only 10 minutes to play because there is days that is all the time Charlie is willing to sit still. Although I can say if we stop we can leave it and come back in a little bit and finish the game as there is no time limit.
Charlie and I love the faces on the cubes and the different facial expressions on each of the cubes. Charlies favorite is the one with the Mustache as he says it reminds him of his dad. Which is true. As for me I like the one with the Sunglasses on him.
I love knowing Lumpy Cubes is made by a gentleman that taught math as he knows what kids faced in school and how to help them. Where someone like me wouldn’t know what a child might or might not need.
All in all I will be purchasing more of RoosterFin games as they are fun and help children use there imagination while teaching our children. But in a fun way so kids do not feel like they are still in school. Plus they are not to hard to play that they would cause stress and frustrate a child.
Even adults will enjoy playing Lumpy Cube and have just as much fun as the children. So this weekend David and I will be playing with Charlie. As David hasn’t had a chance to play Lumpy Cubes yet so I can not wait to see what he thinks about it and who will win.

MEET JOE ROOSTERFIN
Joe brings a unique skill to the toy and game industry with his ability to write authentic game engines. His gift is in understanding how math applies to games. Joe’s background, coupled with his years teaching kids, enables him to create games that are continuously simple to learn and fun to play. Since Joe has left his life in the classroom behind, you can find him somewhere between here and there, driving around the country to bring games to your families.
You just might find him playing in a city near you…
I wish he would come to Haltom City, Texas Charlie and I would love meeting Joe RoosterFin.
