Scott Yoffe down in San Diego, a former long-time PR man w/ the NFL’s Chargers and today is heading up PR and Comms locally for San Diego’s Rooftop Cinema Club, located atop the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego. Offers venues in San Diego, LA, New York, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas as well as in the UK and Rooftop Cinema Club gift cards are a perfect gift for movie lovers and really for anyone looking for a stocking-stuffer. They can be redeemed at any RCC venue and are available online.
If you’re not familiar with Rooftop Cinema Club, we’re a boutique outdoor cinema brand and we put the social in Social Cinema. Our guests come early and stay late. They sit and watch their films in individual lounge chairs or love seats and we give every guest their own set of high-fidelity headphones and we recently installed a state-of-the-art LED screen so we can screen films during the day and at night. Our venue here in San Diego offers amazing views, classic table games, and a fantastic (and eclectic) food and drink menu.
The founder of the company is London native Gerry Cottle, Jr., who’s the son of Gerry Cottle, Sr., who for years ran the Cottle Family Circus around the globe. Gerry actually performed in his dad’s Circus as a kid as an Acrobat and Clown among other roles. He ended up running away from the Circus to start Rooftop Cinema Club with a single rooftop in London’s Shoreditch in 2011 and he has since expanded globally with three venues in the UK and six in the US including one San Diego and three in LA.
For a unique Gift if your in Dallas you should check out Rooftop Cinema Club at Heritage Village (1609 Park Ave., Dallas 75215). Yes, it’s Dallas again and I know we need something like this in Fort Worth.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
